i watched the ust singers at the museum last feb 13, 2009 lng din.. and i cried besides the fact na mejo broken hearted ako at puro love songs ang kinanta nila, i really love music, my mom is just holding me back... even sa choir ko sa simbahan.. yun na lng ang magagawa ko to do my dream... namimiss ko na kumanta ng chorale talaga... saka yung operatic... and i really wanted to join the ust singers... kasi nga scholarship din yun.. hehe keep on singing ust singers.. marami kayong na-iinspire

angelo90990, just to let you know na pwede ka makakuha ng scholarship sa UST with whatever course you want if you join organizations or clubs that offers it. UST Singers in particular actually gets full grant from the University with their tuition fee as long as you are member of the said group. So if you have what it takes, do the audition. Good luck!!

can i join the ust singers though im not a ust graduate? i finished a voice degree from UP college of music and have trained with the madz for 5 months. however and honestly, though a UPian, i really admore the UST singers....

alumni's and current students of UST can join the choir, for it is still the official choir of UST so you must meet at least one of these criteria. You can take some fun subjects at the university to broaden more of your musicality, such as another instrument at the conservatory. for sure being a musician yourself you would want to learn another one.

Very nice job, the only thing that I would point out is that I could not hear the consonants at times. Otherwise as I said, great job. I sang another version of this, but this one is alittle better.

oh, diba? jam pa nga lang yan..eh kami nga inaabot ng matinding rehearsals bago tumunog ng ganito.. it only proves how excellence is stressed among UST Singers whatever batch they may come from..evident talaga ang discipline sa kanilang pagkanta... grabe.. truly a UST Singers legacy..

if there's a will, there's a way. do you know that the members of this choir has at least 20 percent working professionals? Medical doctors, Engineers, Medical Technologist, Nurses and many more to mention. Passion for singing is the key, it's hard but they are fulfilled. Try it! I assure you it will be one of the experiences that you will always treasure.

I have seen one of their perf at CCP and they have this programme in which it enumerated the members and thiir courses... Majority of them are from Music, but some of them are in the medical field... like BS nursing et. al.. and they are all from UST... hahah didn't graudate from UST.. :D
