  • hahaha it looks like an handheld

    taco man words of wisdome

  • I absolutely love the Atari Jaguar, even realizing how it came up short in many ways. I think so many of the games have a sort of charm to them and absolutely loved the way the system was built and how it looked. Definitely have great memories of the system and still fire it up at least once a week.

  • looks like a fun game !

  • this game is o.k and the fun part is you only have one life.....how cool is that

  • AOR rock!^^

  • glad you chose russia, comrade!

  • looks awesome

  • Damn this soundtrack has such awesome riffage that I might just break my neck from headbanging so damn hard....

  • Great sounds and music.

  • Blue Lightning on the Atari Lynx was bettter!

  • I was going to say that understand this game was released on the Lynx, I've never played it though.

  • I guess the programmers thought that just because this game has decent video clips than people wouldn't care that the actual game fell short.

  • I had this game, bought the CD addon when it was first released, but was disappointed with its dated graphics. Released in summer 1995 it and the CD unit was actually scheduled for release at last a full year earlier but was repeatedly delayed. By then, the Saturn was out and PlayStation due in fall, and far better stuff in arcades, this game was nearly DOA

FYI: you can put the disk in any CD player to play out its audio songs, this and Primal Rage.

  • Looks pretty good, but just like any other game on the 3DO or first gen PSX game. Jag had so much unused potential.

  • compare to this to a saturn launch title or early game similar to this like, Panzer Dragoon say, there is no comparison

  • You mean no comparison because Blue Lighting blows every other game out of the water , right?

  • i used to play this game so much till the backing came off the cd

  • This game was only average considering the hardware. But it was fairly fun to play and it did have some depth. It was packed in with the Jag CD so I couldn't complain. The worst part about Blue Lightning was it's graphics (cardboard cutout lookin). Highlander was a much better Jag CD game. It's a shame less than 20 games came out for the Jag CD. After playing Highlander I knew it had potential.

  • It's a decent game. Quite difficult. It should have been a bit better considering it came out in 1995 though. Compare this to Air Combat on the Playstation and this game is rather lacking. Still decent though.

  • this game looks life a clone of after burner, but it different types of missions

  • @Ussopu It looks worse than Afterburner, which came out in 1989 or so, lmao.

  • What a great game! I have this for my three Atari Lynxes, too. I do recall the music being of a rockin' nature and so it is.

Pretty darn good for mid-1990s stuff!
