Naturally, I'm biased. I've owned three of those '69 Vista Cruisers since 1982. The show is almost a mirror of my life circa 1985 - including the sister who was a LOT like Laurie, the basement party room, the exact same car, a friend who was a lot like Hyde and even the foreign friend - my friend's middle name is FEliZidad, which becomes FEZ if you take all but 3 letters out of it.

BTW, the cast mispronounces "Vista Cruiser". Emphasis is on the first word, as George Plimpton said in the ads.
