@americanfanof201130e Sorry, no idea what you meant by "...most longest..." , Google Maps shows a 130-mile drive btwn those two places. So I don't think a 130-mile hwy qualifies for ANY sort of "most longest", right?
What is your approximate speed? What is the speed of most of the traffic on the 401? It seems that from this video that traffic is moving at a rather slow pace.
Texas is going raise its speed limit to 85 mph (135 kph) on some of its interstates. Louisiana, Kansas and Ohio have raised their speed limits on some of their interstates.
This is in contrast to the possible imposition of speed limits in Germany and lowering speed limits in Spain for environmental reasons. Go figure.
@michael112254 Been to TX on I-10 btwn El Paso and SA, also I-20 El Paso to Dallas, the only areas with 80 mph speed limit (65mph after dark), you can easily do 90 mph w/o any fear of getting pulled over, but with today's gas prices... Very normal to raise the speed limit, all stats show a very low accident rate in TX, plus huge distances with mostly deserted surroundings around. Been many times to New Orleans, last time 2 years ago, 70 mph max, Ohio only 65 mph, Kansas maybe 75.
@401RoadWarrior I should have been more clear about this issue. I believe that these increases are still in the legislative process. Ohio has implemented a 70mph speed limit on the Ohio Turnpike for all vehicles as of April 1. They hope to put into place a 70mph speed limit throughout the state in the future. The only real resistance is the insurance lobby. The want all speed limits to be under-posted so that more motorists receive tickets and they can charge a higher rate.
@michael112254 "Ohio has implemented a 70mph speed limit on the Ohio Turnpike for all vehicles as of April 1." I've been to entire OH state and I think on all of their interstates, all FREE, usually Turnpike = TOLL road, so which one is the OH Turnpike? Been on I-90 from Buffalo, NY to Cleveland, free in OH, never I-90 west of Cleveland, also all interstates south of Cleveland going to FL, also once going S-N around Toledo, all free as well, never paid anything while driving thru OH.
@401RoadWarrior The Ohio Turnpike is the highway that goes east-west. It connects in the east with the Pennsylvania Turnpike going 241 miles to connect with the Indiana Tollway. It was financed by the state of Ohio. It was built in the 1954 before President Eisenhower founded the Interstate Highway system. The Turnpike later was designated as I-80 and I-90 on parts of it when the Interstate system was built. It is free to set its own speed limit but it is patrolled by the Ohio Patrol.
This is amazing! It seems that high fuel prices have not had an effect on people driving in Canada. The demand for fuel has dropped here in the US. The roads are jam packed. I would bet that the economy is much stronger up there. Canada has managed its economy a lot better than we have. You are not handicapped with an Obama managed economy. Also, Obama is doing what he can to discourage oil and coal production over here. He is economically strangling the American middle class.
@onlinerenan High Speed Internet Connection for $40/month, unlimited Internet connection, U/L: 0.62 Mb/s, next step up is Cable Internet with way higher D/L and U/L speeds, the unlimited connection package sells for $100/month, ain't reach to go for that stuff, yet LOL
I wish you the best in the world to finally start enjoying my videos in real life, with YOU in a (new or used, it doesn't matter) car learning to drive the north american way.
@Xjarq With the sun at the road level straight in your eyes? not even the sun visor can help you in that department. But for sure I will get to drive W/B during a beautiful summer sunset, here or in the States, just wasn't the case on Friday.

Nice truck at 12:30 and another one few seconds later.
Too bad you were driving eastbound - if it was the other way, there might have been a nice view on the sunset:)
