  • 19th century progressive used to fight against the banker takeover of our money supply for the same reasons shown in this video. I wonder if they'll ever come to the conclusion, like Kucinich, that the monetary system is at the core of the problem. Bryan anybody?

  • Add onto this the ballot access reform bill and things may be looking further up than we thought.

    A.G.

  • All politicians are in the pockets of corporations.

  • I really appreciate your reports on these issues - you just seem to continue highlighting and lending weight to all I have ever said about "corporate greed" and the politicians following the "profit mandate" and "disenfranchise the masses"...

Good work, Sweetie - keep it up - you are a shining beacon of humanity, sanity and rationality here on YouTube - a true "voice of the people" :-)

  • This kind of attack on the poor and the Unions began in the UK with Thatcher, who preached a free market philosophy and the end of Nationalisation. British industry is now almost non-existent, Britain's earnings come from invisible assets built up in the past. Our national debt is 7 trillion pounds! We and our children have been saddled with this debt and the savage cuts that will affect mainly the poorest as well as the middle classes won't put a dent in it. Corporate Fascism must end.

  • @trifelgeputinage Thatcher ~ *puts head in hands and tries hard not to weep uncontrollably*

  • In case no one is aware of the republican strategy by now and needs it to be summed up read this.

You know the deal fill in the (dots) and leave no spaces.

Anything they do has nothing to what's good for the country. It's definitely just fueled by greed and it's pretty much us against them.

  • @TheElMoIsEviL

    5. Phase out agricultural subsidies.

  • Thanks for posting. I need to learn more about who's who in government and what they really stand for.

  • Wow, this woman makes so much sense. I like her and can't see any serious holes in her plan.

Will it get adopted? No fucking way! The top 1% might have half the money, but they have 100% of Washington.

  • @TheElMoIsEviL I'm not against compromises because sometimes they're in the interest of the greater good. But what good does a compromise do when a chinese/indian factory can just dump every toxic chemical known to man into the nearest stream and pour radioactive chemicals into the atmosphere because there are no regulations or enforcement to prevent those transgressions? It makes doing business there so much cheaper. This is where, as a liberterian, can get behind the idea of tariffs.

  • I agree. It's not everything, but it's a necessary part of ending welfare for the rich.

  • 1.defund obamacare 2.tax the church.where has our tax money gone? to useless GOV. agencies like the BATFE,the FCC,OBAMACARE, department of homeland "SECURITY" the TSA.should i go on? should i mention the DEA or the drug CZAR? or the homeland "security" CZAR? we need to cut these agencies.we also need to cut GOV salarys by 75% our politicions are over paid.i shouldnt have to work 2 jobs while they get fat off of my hard work.

  • @smashb U know sb, I like you but every video I've been making lately U seem to want to hijack the thread and turn into some sort of panicfest about "OBAMACARE." You even seem to be throwing around the tea party rhetoric about the big scary SOCIALISM!!! DOOM! You're seriously starting to sound like a tea bagger trying to inject fear into everyone & make it out like Obama & The Affordable Health Care Act are the problem. I'm beginning to get annoyed with it. STOP trying to hijack my threads.

  • @smashb2 IRONICALLY, You made my whole thread on Hoffa being targeted during the MacCarthy era as a "COMMUNIST" a scare mongering session about "SOCIALISM" illustrating the point of the clip perfectly so I let it persist BUT IT STOPS HERE! Stay on topic. We are going to get serious push back from Reps. on this bill. What are your thoughts on that?

  • @smashbeans I need health care and my only chance to get it is if Obamacare goes into action in 2012. You might not care but I haven't had health care since I lost my job at WM. Were I work now its too expensive. If OC does not go through in 2012 I'm screwed so don't talk down about something u don't even need.

  • @esplin227 i do need health care.i need a new liver,a new back and a new brain.i want health care obamacare is dysfunctional.its a unconstitutional power grab.if obamacare wasnt a wolf in sheeps clothing i would be all 4 it.the patriot act is a sheep in wolfs clothing.if you are going to demand free health care then you might want to demand a system that 1 works and 2 doesnt violate civil and constitutional rights.by all means health care should be free and not at the expence of our rights

  • @smashbeans You notice what you didn't do there? You didn't show exactly what part of the bill is wrong. Rather then making broad and empty platitudes why don't you list each provision that you disagree with and explain why its wrong. Otherwise its clear your just parroting anti socialist sentiments. BTW The bill got increasingly fucked up because the republicans refused to negotiate on anything and the dems r pussies. We should have a public option and its people like you who r the reason y.

  • @esplin227 you are right we do need an option.i wont say much cause divinty is getting tired of looking at my name pop up every other minut.so im going to respect what it is divinity told me earlyer and just chill.besides i need a break and a big fat bong rip, peace

  • @smashbeans amen to that brother. Go "Green!" :)

  • She says this isn't about revenge or getting even but thats exactly what this plan proposes. Two things. One, will taxing the rich in a "fair" way bring back all of the jobs that were shipped and outsourced to China and India over the last 20 years? Number two, read number one.

She harps on about the stagnant wages 90% of us have had to endure but its not because CEO's are making big bucks. Its because corporations have found a cheaper supply of labor in the far east.

  • @AlcoholLevel Yeah lets cut the tax of the rich that will get our jobs back. I think you have it wrong. There are two problems, jobs going overseas does not explain rich people getting massive increases in their income and tax cuts, while poor people get very low increases in their income and tax increases. The jobs issue is not releveant to these statistics. It is a second problem with a second solution.

  • I like the bill but I have two concerns. Once she introduces this bill, there's a strong possibility that lobbyists will find a way to place huge loopholes in the bill that will make the bill useless. My second concern is that Obama will use this bill as a way to "compromise" w/ republicans and impose more austerity measures(cuts to ss, medicare, medicade). But I definitely support the measure overall.

  • I always wondered how long it would take for the soperific effect to wear off and for the poor majority to stand up and say 'enough is enough. We're not going to take this anymore'.

I'm hoping this takes off and people don't go back to sleep.

  • Divinity - you fuckin' rock. It may sound lame, but it makes me feel better to know that there are people out there, watching this shit, following this shit, posting this shit. I really appreciate you making this information available. Somehow, it makes me feel a little less alone in the struggle. Allright - that's enough of that sappy shit.

  • @M0US3P0T4TO ((HUG))

  • Republicans are backwards and do not represent the republic.

That just leaves what they always say to logic and reason "na"

  • The only way to do this is to use your legal rights to turn the entire senate out on their asses and force a vote.

  • @LegendaryAsshole Not only that, but more people need to participate in elections. 2010s elections had piss poor voter turnout, especially in the primaries. That's probably the most important time for people to inform themselves about candidates and issues, and then vote. Presidential elections are a moot point, really. It's the local stuff that matters.

  • @Homer177 *shrug* If the USA falls too far, I'm sure someone will step in to deal with whatever issues arise.

  • @LegendaryAsshole Yeah but you have to wonder who would step in, and how. The foil-hat fucktards took over congress by playing on the worst fears of their support base (And we know who those people are.), and now they're taking full advantage of the situation. The thing to keep in mind is that the congress has more power than the president, and sadly both the house and senate are wholly owned by big business. That's exactly WHY we have to vote.

  • @Homer177 Most truly advanced technology starts in garages or basements, not government or corporate owned laboratories. All it takes is one strong mind to produce the next best step, and use it to put a stop to this fucking charade.

I have ideas, but no education, so sorry. it wont be me saving the world, but I know enough to say that, if I have an idea, so do others, and once technology is ready, it'll come out one way or another.

  • @LegendaryAsshole "Most truly advanced technology starts in garages"

Like 450 mm?: google. com/search?q=450mm+wafer+billion "Nov 2, 2010 ... How will the industry pay for the multi-billion R&D price tag for a 450 mm wafer transition? [...] It has been estimated that the cost of the 300 mm wafer transition was $12 billion and has yet to show a return."

  • @LegendaryAsshole

Advanced agricultural technology doesnt come from a garage. It comes frome teams of researchers picking though genomes and other data and running riggerous trials. It literally cannot be done garrage-style. Same goes for pretty much any biotech. Or do you like the idea of half-educated weirdos fiddling with DNA and dangerous organisms in their garage?

  • @WavegirlThinks I don't encourage anything that could turn into an epidemic.
