  • hello everyone, i think we should complain to youtube about the user manormaid.

  • @jadetiger88888 what can't handle a few home truths, sad

  • what a wonderful girl!! she and her family are so blessed

  • @manormaid with that logic you could say any national leader is like hitler. the pope is a very special person chosen to lead the faithful by expressions of fath, hope, and love, teaching scripture, and upholding a holy tradition in a sinful world

  • @TheOtherKatie good comment!

  • @TheOtherKatie he upholds pedophilia, perverts, liars, corruption, hypocrisy at the highest degree, he is evil and so are you

  • @manormaid if you had any faith at all you would know that you shouldn't judge someone based on no evidence-that is common with all religious doctrines, not just the Catholic one. Stop being a troll, if you do not appreciate Catholicism or the pope then fine, but don't go around falsely accusing our pope of crimes he did not commit or doctrines he did not believe in EVER

  • @TheOtherKatie very good answer!

  • This child will grow up and will realize the lies she believed in

  • Nice to see how the idiots commenting below me have eaten the pill given to them by the media. Silly idiots. They will call Catholic paedophiles. Tomorrow, Sky News will tell them the sky is orange and they will go outside to check. Idiots!

  • @manormaid get a life

  • mamma mia che stupida gente che non hanno capito nulla

  • Emma, what a blessed soul. You are such a inspiration. I am truly touched by you. I am grateful that you have a wonderful family who has raised you to love the lord. Your faith and testimony is remarkable, and your parents who adopted you are amazing people who know how to raise children to love Jesus. We are proud of you Emma...very proud!!!

  • How could anyone "dislike" this??

  • Poor misguided kid ....There has to be, thankfully, less and less parents willing to visit the pope with their children these days.

    No king but Christ!

    1Timothy 2:5

  • @daleyboy77 the Pope is the Vicar of Christ on earth.

  • @MarysLittleFlower Jesus does not need a "vicar" ...He is the head of the church...not the pope...see Collosians 1:18.

  • @daleyboy77 Catholics believe that Christ is the Head of the Church. But the Pope is His visible representative on earth. If you see Isaiah 22, these are the same words that Jesus says to Peter, when he gives him the new name "rock". In Isaiah, they're referring to a position like that of a "prime minister", who represents the King.

  • @MarysLittleFlower Jesus does not need a visible representation on earth and Isaiah 22 has nothing to do with John 1:42 when Jesus calls Simon, Peter or more exactly Cephas (Stone or pebble).

Jesus Christ is the Rock throughout Scripture therefore when He says to Peter "on this rock I will build my church" in Mathew 16:18 He is speaking of Himself, not Peter.

One more thing, the pope calls himself "holy father", you should know that this is the name Jesus uses to address God in John 17:11.

  • Comment removed

  • @daleyboy77 in Aramaic, it would sound like this: "You are rock and on this rock I will build My Church". Probably they only had 1 word for rock. "Petra" was changed to "Petros" in Greek so it sounds like a masculine name. When people in Scripture are given new names, that's always significant. Yes Jesus is the Rock too, and the early Church Fathers talk about Him building the Church on Peter AND on Peter's confession, or because of his confession.

  • @daleyboy77 Also we don't believe that the Pope is God, neither does he claim to be.

  • @daleyboy77 Concerning Authority and Protestantism... Why do we NEED a pope?

    /watch?v=RWYwBDqFsuE

  • @daleyboy77 Dude, don't stop half way in the quotation! After Jesus calls Peter the Rock, he goes on to say,"And I shall give you the keys of the Kingdom, the laws you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven. the laws you loose on Earth shall be loose in heaven" Christ was not referring to himself as the rock, because the Person who was the Rock, the "Petrus" was the one he was talking to, I doubt he is going to talk to himself like a mad man saying he will give to himself the keys of the kingdom.

  • @priest008 Once again Peter is not the Rock, Jesus Christ is the Rock, Psa 42:9 and many other places.

The keys Jesus gives Peter and the other apostles was referring to the doctrine that would see many become Christians (not roman catholics) and this was fulfilled when Peter spoke after penecost and over 3,000 souls were saved.Acts 2:41. Are you saved ?

The mythical infallibility of peter is proven false when Paul corrects him in Gal 2:11 and James advice is followed in Acts 15, not Peters.

  • @MarysLittleFlower NO, he is the leader of a pedophile ring. You are so so stupid

  • @MarysLittleFlower the pope is the ring leader of a pedophile ring

  • ohhhhhhh. such a sweet story.. .... but again. lets hope she never finds out the truth about religion....

  • It's nice that her wish was fulfilled but let's hope she never discovers the unfortunate truths about the Vatican. Ignorance is bliss and this child has enough problems in her life to have to realize the evil that lurks behind Vatican walls. To keep her ignorant and happy about her church, keep her in Catholic Schools which never discuss in-depth Church history. Let her think the Roman Catholic 10 Commandments are the biblical 10 Commandments, and never encourage her to study church history.

  • @legalman1980 If ignorance is bliss, then you would likely be much happier.

  • emma watson? that somehow sounds fromilliar

  • "thou shalt have no other before me" - God

  • @SophiaVonHelgastein who is worshipping the Pope in this video, or at all?

  • @SophiaVonHelgastein We Catholics don't place anyone before God. That being said, it doesn't mean we have to reject the successor of Peter as the person who KNOWS Christ the best and is in position to guide us, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

How can the Church be ONE, if in the end, you reject the LIVING VOICE of authority? And don't tell me the authority is the Holy Spirit, who guides every christian... If that was the case, there wouldn't be 40 000+ protestants sects around.

  • @Gazdo01 "One is my bride my Holy one"

"For I intend you to be One in me for there is but One Father and One is the Shepard and One flock"

"And other sheep have I which are not of this flock"

"Thou art peter, Rock, and upon this Rock I will build my Church and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against her. And I shall give you the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, the laws you bind on Earth consider them bound in heaven, the laws you loose on Earth, consider them loose in Heaven"

  • @SophiaVonHelgastein Protestantism and authority: Why we NEED the pope.

    /watch?v=RWYwBDqFsuE

You'll have to realize your faith depends on all kinds of men: The Evangelists, Paul, the Church Fathers who canonised the Bible AND listed the DOGMAS of the Church, etc.

Jesus said "whoever listens to you listens to ME"... Would you have rejected the Apostles? Or if you'd lived in the second century, before the Bible was even put together, you'd have rejected the bishops, i.e. apostollic successors?

  • Compared to a lovely, pillar of the community like yourself? Hmm, let's see, which should I choose?

  • Ema and her mom even look alike... very awesome.

  • Ema Ave Maria Sacnta Maria Pray to Mary Daily and She WILL help u w/ all your needs!

  • God Bless Ema! Ema Keep up w/ the RCC!

  • is that emma watson

  • This is truly an amazing experience. My Make-A-Wish was to meet Pope John Paul II. Truly the best and most blessed day of my life.

  • God bless this family richly.

  • @Graverobber94 he three companies that insure the majority of Protestant churches in America say they typically receive upward of 260 reports each year of young people under 18 being sexually abused by clergy, church staff, volunteers or congregation members. So Shut your Pie Hole protty. And if u are an atheist Go find a banana and Eat It. this way u will remember ur ancestors

  • @dadadude1 sorry but i have no idea what youre saying

  • The Catholic Chruch is neither innocent nor perfect.

And I believe the Holy Father when he states he is not afraid of the truth.

    God bless the Pope!

  • @tantawi1992 you are so ignorant that you cannot see past your hypocrisy.

You idiots believe in talking snakes and forbidden fruit. And mankins will forever be punished for taking a bite of an apple.... fuck me it sound like something out of Lord of the rings.

Your seedy perverted Church covered up child abuse for years and years, filthy dirty lying sordid priests taking advantage of young boys, your whole church is a disgrace and should hang its head in shame.

  • @montydon21 you have no idea what you're talking about mate. Look, i was raised a Catholic, and even though i don't believe in the dogma anymore i still have huge respect for the church, and for the lovely, nurturing parish priest in my community who never touched any kids, just like theVAST majority of priests didn't.

Also, they don't believe in "snakes and forbidden fruit", it's a metaphor. Do your homework and stop being a hateful fool. Peace out.

  • @tantawi1992 How Christian of you calling someone a fucker and referring to Homosexuals as faggots, kind of sums your whole religion up. Bigoted hatemonger, how do you feel about blacks being priests eh?

Oh and lets not forget the Catholic churches role in World War 2 when it was complicent in handing over Jews to the Nazis to save their own skin. But hey you carry on believing about an imaginary man in the sky.

  • @tantawi1992 abusing kids is ok with theses people though, scum

  • @montydon21 Go take your venom elsewhere...and flush it!

  • Most people, care more about well being than medical needs. That is truth.

  • im really happy for the girl and her family.

Though also want to ask question to believers - why do you take pope as someone really close to god? Hes not chosen by god, he gets elected. Just like any other political figure.

  • Make-A-Wish foundation made my dream possible, it is great to see that other great people get the opportunity to have their wishes granted :)

  • wow good parents :)

  • Carful little girl, he use too be Hitler Youth!

  • hes a coocking something up

  • The pope sucks

  • @HayLotion why?

  • One of the only and the LAST good pope. =/

  • The head of the Roman Catholic Church...epic

  • aww Emma must know that the Pope is somebody very special

  • rest in pece!

  • prayers for that family. wow, she is beautiful. God Bless JMJ

  • I have I have had the prilage in many children like emma whom have life limating conditions and they are amzing courage and bravery as too the familys whom face losing their kid so yng and it makes me thankful i am living as I have cp ad I was not meant to surive due too being born a month premature and I live thankful 4 each day I am living ad breathing. I sadly have lost many friends from various conds. and got angry with god especially but now I accept their passings now but pain nvr goes

  • love her name

  • Be thankful that there are those who devote their lives to advancing medical science. The pope didnt use any of his holy magic to help her! I am glad her parents had enough sence to take her to specialist, and not the local preacher.

I hope she gets a heart transplant and appreciates the decades of science that went into extending her life.

  • @FlyingAtheist --Go somewhere else, please!! Medical science works marvels, but it can never give comfort to the human heart. Don't get the two confused. If science and a sceptical attitude were enough for happiness and real progress, why is modern society so unhappy and looking for the next fix?(drugs, sex, consumerism)?

  • @TheMenghi1 who gives a damn about comfort if life is about to be lost? science prolongs and improves life if used properly, whereas happines is achieved through healthy human relations.

  • @eat666shit -- Yes, Galileo was persecuted. It didn't help that the Pope was irrascible by nature and Galileo an arrogant man. It was a mistake to challenge Galileo. After all, Copernicus was a Catholic monk who also espoused the same theory, heliocentrism. Back to your other point, "happiness" is never fully possible here on Earth because of our limitations. As C.S. Lewis says, 'God allows us moments of joy but wants us to not get too comfortable here, so he sends pain..

  • @FlyingAtheist And you should be thankful to the Catholic Monks who preserve the books necessary for the advancement of medical Science during the Dark Ages.

  • @rytsign69 And we should be thankfully for the catholic-driven inquisition for hunting down all sorts of scientists as if they were wizards. Back to history class I guess...

  • @rytsign69 The Dark Ages were the result of religious opression. Had ever church burnt to the ground we surely would have been further ahead. Stem cell research is almost a decade behind because of the religious ignorance of George Bush. Religion only serves to slow progress.

  • @FlyingAtheist What Stem Cell Research are you referring to? The Church promotes adult Stem Cell Research and oposses Embryonic Stem Cell Research. Also The Dark Ages is the time Rome has fallen to barbarian hoards and in these times, the Church has built monasteries to preserve the christian cultures and teachings and also books by various authors which later became the foundation for the re-civilization of Europe.

  • @FlyingAtheist What's more important? Medical Science or well being? Hmm?

  • @assasincomedy Truth based on reality is most important. Medical Science is the most reliable means of extending and improving life. If you are suggesting well being comes from belief in a god or a Popes ability to perform magic. Then you are sadly mistaken, putting your well being in the hands of Doctors has a far better track record. Donating money to cancer research and not the church!

  • @FlyingAtheist I have not seen any atheist doctors save terminal patients. I have not seen any statistical data or your so called track record which compares missionaries like the order of St. Camillus with over $1200 priests who hold medical degrees and atheist doctors. Third, the Pope does not perform magic Blasphemer.

  • YIPPEEE! The Pope is coming to Scotland in September so I get to go and see his mass *happy dance*

  • @Kjellarnek

Poor misguided soul. I shall pray for you.

Why was this precious child born with half a heart?? Only God knows for sure, but I'll bet her illness will be used by HIm to bless those who know and love her. Why was I born with my medical condition?? Same reason...I use it to the good of others.

    VIVA IL PAPA!!!!

  • @BigSwitz98 Wow, this was a great comment, Thank you and God Bless

  • God Bless this family & God Bless the Pope! What a magnificant wish to come true!

  • god bless the pope

  • Pope Benedict is awesome. He's the leader of a billion Catholic, but he spends every Wednesday speaking to those who come to the Vatican and tickets are free.

God bless him and this loving family.

  • A 7year old wanted to see the Pope?

Why not someone like Hannah Montana?

  • @geometroy becuase she wants to meet someone important not a stupid teen with make-up piled on her ,who sings annoying pop songs for disney. . .

  • @halo3boredom I wish I could vote this comment up more! it's terrific!

  • @geometroy the pope is way cooler. she is a girl of faith.

  • it is exactly this kind of reaction that masks the truth: in logic ( a science invented by aristotle) what you wrote is qualified by sophism. disgusting priests and cardinals. millions of priests all around the world but you judge them all by what the few did. you forget everything and focus on these criminals who betrayed their sacred duty... very objective if i may say. it is you who should start thinking again because what you wrote is full of hatred and blind prejudice against the church.

  • now you made me laugh. between you and saint thomas aquinas who wrote thounsand of pages on THE CATHOLIC CHURCH and scholasticism (look it up in a dictionary) i will certainly choose saint thomas. i advise you to read, because it seems that ignorance as usual is the main reason behind your bias attitude. i rather presume that your historical and metaphysical culture come from the Da vinci code and other stupid movies destined for the ignorant masses.

  • @BloodTar We, as Catholics, refer to our Church as "The Church".

  • Pope Benedict is beyond any shred of doubt the greatest man alive nowadays.

  • ye

    pray for em

    jesus forever

i met him and shaked his hands (the pope's)

    god bless ;)

  • God bless this family.

  • @frolickfriendster

    Amen to that!

  • @frolickfriendster Amen to that.
