@chanpenn I disagree with you!! I'm on Section 8 because I'm deaf! I've applied many jobs for 8 months and heard nothing from them...I said on job application that I'm disability with deaf...do you think most jobs would hire deaf people to work with them?!
@FemmeBoy2010 Im very sorry if i offended you in any way. You are disabled and need some assistance and also deserve anything you can get because you are unable to work. Im saying that these programs will eventually end one day and everyone should have alternate means to pay their rent.
I work everyday and I pay my own bills and I have been doing so for many years. And so do alot of other people that live in NYCHA. I can not afford to pay $2000 a monthor more for a 2 bedroom apartment, I don't make that kind of money. Can you? If you can good for you.
