all people know is prejudices and myths. First of all at 15-16 the body isn't growing much. Although the body could grow for years even when one is 27, most guys stop growing at the age of 16. The age where the most growth is occuring is before puberty and 12. But even if a 16 year old were still growing, he just needs 200 calories more than someone who isn't growing cause very little extra calories are needed for growth, the rest becomes fat. There are lot of fat teens in fact.

Your body is ripped as it is, now you just need to put on some MASS. Bottom line, you need to eat more, much more, your body needs an excess of calories to grow bigger than it is. As AnthonyJBish says, you need to also incorperate Squats, benchpresses, and maybe deadlifts into your workouts. These excersises work to help you gain strength which in turn helps you gain mass. Eat more, train hard.

When you add muscle to your frame, your body has to burn more calories to maintain that muscle tissue. And, unless you're a mentally challenged toddler, you know that burning calories = weight loss.

If it needs 2000 calories to build that any extra calories can only become fat since more calories can't increase protein synthesis.

First I think you are relying to much on "supplements" secondly if you are trying to gain weight I would suggest eating just as many simple carbs (glucose/sugar) as u do complex carbs. Its very hard to build serious muscle AND loose fat at the same time. Its almost impossible. I think you either have to choose one or the other. In order to build serious muscle, you have to eat good, take in lots of calories, carbs, ect. In order to burn fat, you have to limit your carbs and caloric intake, so how do you expect to build muscle ?
If your trying to build muscle , your muscles will benefit way more from the burger as opposed to a salad. Don't worry about watching your caloric intake too much at your age. At 14, your body is a fat burning machine, especially if your working out. You've got great definition but your fairly skinny, so if I were you id easily take that burger over the salad. Eat your ass off, train hard, and you'll see great muscle and size gains.

Dude here something i recommend you to do, go to a Doctor and ask him to tell you a little more about nutrition because i'm guessing that you are a ectomorph by just seeing you, meaning that the more you eat, you won't get fat! So this means you do not, i repeat, do not have to diet and even less at your age. Worry about dieting when you are in your late 30's, when your metabolism is crap. Just be careful of what you eat, cut down on the hamburgers, pizzas, soda, all the greasy foods out there.
yo if u want to gain size, eat a hamburger instead of a salad if you have the choice lol...just eat a lot of protein and youll get bigger....try to eat once an hour, not a full meal, like a bar or something. That gets you bigger real quick...believe me my dad was a professional bodybuilder and thats what i do and i have been gaining size real quick.

2.push yourself start of on lower waits and build up to prevent injuries
3. running willl tone your legs but stops or slows down building muscle
4. leave 2 days after an intense workout for muscles to recover and build constant working out will not let your muscles build aswell
5.stretch often allows blood and stuff to pass through your muscles bringing nutrients quicker 6.results!!!

Your body is ripped as it is, now you just need to put on some MASS. Bottom line, you need to eat more, much more, your body needs an excess of calories to grow bigger than it is. As AnthonyJBish says, you need to also incorperate Squats, benchpresses, and maybe deadlifts into your workouts. These excersises work to help you gain strength which in turn helps you gain mass. Eat more, train hard.

@SocomSnipes Um, you most certainly can. You don't burn as much as you would if you were doing cardio, but the more muscle that you build, the quicker you'll burn fat. When you add muscle to your frame, your body has to burn more calories to maintain that muscle tissue. And, unless you're a mentally challenged toddler, you know that burning calories = weight loss.

it's not common sense, just a ridicolous myth for retarded. You can't force more protein synthesis by eating more. If your body can build 0.1 pounds of muscles a day, that's what it can build. If it needs 2000 calories to build that any extra calories can only become fat since more calories can't increase protein synthesis.

Protein synthesis is limited in humans and you can't increase the protein synthesis by eating more. First I think you are relying to much on "supplements" secondly if you are trying to gain weight I would suggest eating just as many simple carbs (glucose/sugar) as u do complex carbs. From what you said it doesn't seem like you get much fat at all in you diet which is a must for bodybuilders so you need to change that. Last but not least you don't need "high protein" if you have alot of protein and fat in your diet.

Its very hard to build serious muscle AND loose fat at the same time. Its almost impossible. I think you either have to choose one or the other. In order to build serious muscle, you have to eat good, take in lots of calories, carbs, ect. In order to burn fat, you have to limit your carbs and caloric intake, so how do you expect to build muscle ?

If your trying to build muscle , your muscles will benefit way more from the burger as opposed to a salad. Don't worry about watching your caloric intake too much at your age. At 14, your body is a fat burning machine, especially if your working out. You've got great definition but your fairly skinny, so if I were you id easily take that burger over the salad. Eat your ass off, train hard, and you'll see great muscle and size gains.

Dude here something i recommend you to do, go to a Doctor and ask him to tell you a little more about nutrition because i'm guessing that you are a ectomorph by just seeing you, meaning that the more you eat, you won't get fat! So this means you do not, i repeat, do not have to diet and even less at your age. Worry about dieting when you are in your late 30's, when your metabolism is crap. Just be careful of what you eat, cut down on the hamburgers, pizzas, soda, all the greasy foods out there.
