What a hypocite this Jindal is. He said that he is not taking $100 million of the stimulus money; but what he doesn't tell you is that Louisiana is getting $4 billion. So in reality, he is only refusing 2.5% of the money and taking the remaining97.5%. But when you hear him on the cable news circuit, he makes it sound like he is refusing ALL of it. Jindal, if you don't want the money don't take any of it!!!

Gov. Douglas (R) is no friend of the left, but he does suport the stimulus, and he'll be accepting the money on behalf of the people of Vermont.

They are calling it a 'stimulus' bill because of its size and its scope, but it is essentially no different than any other federal spending bills.

It's a bunch of Medicaid dollars and a lot of infrastructure spending. There's new program spending and it also re-funds programs which had been frozen by the past administration.
