I think simply Goffredo is the best.... He is 100x better than Jurij Batagelj..he hasn't got that technique, but Jurij's dancestyle is very boring....

I dont like them....the dresses look awful and they dont look strong...its just too wild for my taste

Since you pointed out the traveling voltas, I took a second look at it. Still, I do not find anything off. Some years ago, I think it was a workshop by Mick Stylianos, where he mentioned different types of volta action that top dancers tend to execute. One of them was the traveling one, which goes very flat(done by Jukka). The other ones were what Bryan does, which has an abdomen crunch-type action. Paul Killick has more of a classical action. Whichever works!

Just my opinion - I don't find anything off in this routine. Personally, in a traveling dance like Samba (or even the stationary ones), I'd like to show off my number to as many judges as possible. And what better way to do it, than move around the floor! Of course, all this maintaining the quality of the dance - which I think this couple managed to achieve.

Well, the continuous volta action after the runs suffer tremendously from the traveling. And the showing off the number works only in first few rounds, then it becomes off putting. Samba is a travelling dance in a sense, but it doesn't mean you're meant to move as much as you can in a space.

If this was a 60 meter running competition they would be able to make the finals.

But this is latin dancing.

Look at the marks, They where ranked 17 in the the first round. They had 15 marks into the final.

I must admit - if this is the way dancing is supposed to be in the future, I will be deaply dissapointed.

Look for quality.

I personally prefer musicality and characterisation of the dance be placed higher than dynamics and level of energy, but this time, in my opinion, this couples should've certainly been fifth or even fourth. At least on samba.

This couple will achieve great things in the future. So young, so talented.

Normally (most of the time) I prefer dunaics and stuff and level of energy, but this time imo this couple shouldnt been in the finals. Dont get me wrong, I admire them.
