Don't care about DKM or AFI anymore. They both charge over 40 dollars to go to their shows, so they're both sellouts. I do enjoy listening to their old music though.

Someone might say I am an idiot because I hate successful bands; but I don't equate being successful as having money or a record deal. I equate successful as being able to keep the same fans interested in the same music for a long time. Both DKM and AFI have made slow changes to their music and a lot of it is corporate changes.

I love Dropkick, AFI, and Misfits alike but I think this song is just a little too dark in lyrical content for Dropkick.

I have to agree with Snuffy. I love punk music. I can appreciate other forms of punk as much as I love my Oi, and Crust, and so on. Cereal Wars was an amazing song by AFI, but in the end, they are pop punk. Pop punk stands for popular punk. More upbeat guitars, with more melody opposed to, oh, well say Oi, with it's crunchy, fast, repetitive sound. I wont bash what you said, just trying to enlighten.

I think that AFI did it best because they gave the song the most energy while keeping the dark tone in the song. The singer from the Dropkick Murphys just sounds like he is not trying. I think the Misfits do the only other good version of this song.
