U.S.: Iran patrol boats harassed warships

Now that the video showing this supposed "threat" has been proven to be a hoax, I hope a lot of people feel like total asses now.

They were patrolling and protecting their borders. Big whoop.

An attempted Gulf of Tonkin? Probably. Leave those people alone, their country is none of our business....just like OUR country is none of THEIR business.

You should post a clarification, now that it has been shown that the "threat" did not come from the Iranian boats. Why trust statements from anonymous military spokesmen? Why can't the Captain say what happened? This seems a lot like the faked attack on the Maddox in the Tonkin Gulf.

Hell Just bring back the USS Iowa class... Let's see how they like shells flying at them 1/4 the size of their boats.

Or how about stay out of Iranian waters and Iranian affairs. Last time a US destroyer trespassed Iranian waters, it shot down an airliner with 290 innocent passengers. That would be called terrorism if the passengers were American. But Bush Sr. refused to apologise for it. this confrontation is a hoax to drag the US public into supporting a war.

Watch the video Iran released of the same incident in which Iran is trying to hail the US ships. Also the Military confessed today that they have no idea where the "threatening" radio transmission came from.
