  • That`s sucks invention .

  • thats not running on air pressure, when you move the actuator, a current travels through the wires and makes the other one move.

  • could be a kind of crash sensor that deploys air bag in lego car!

  • can you tell me how do u connect power functions motor to rcx engine?, ty

  • I think that's a pressure switch, not a regulator.

  • @mrmikerotch the rubber bands are holding down the little yellow piston causing it to kind of push back

  • @mrmikerotch Regulates the pressure in the system. It can go both ways.

  • @Natesmodelrailroad

Well, yes and no. In the engineering world (specifically EFM), if you were to describe what the physical devices was, you would be told, "A pressure switch." If you described what its use in the system was, then you might be told, "To regulate pressure."

  • @mrmikerotch Yeah...note to self, actually watch the video.

It could be used both ways...switch something on when pressure rises, or as demonstrated here, turn on a compressor when pressure drops. I'd almost say that, in a way, both names can be used.

  • clever design

  • ehrmzz... you could also use the swich by hand... kinda useless

  • probably last comment
