Wow,flashback. I remember seeing this ad on channel 3 every saturday morning back in the 80s. Ah,sweet memories,sweeter than those charms.

It's kind of perverted and sick the way ONLY the girl is sucking on that BLOW-pop.

This is the kind of subliminal sexually suggestive message that gets through to perverts, and if you think this is an accident, you are the one that receives this kind of message to your subconscious.

I mean, why not have one of the boys doing that? Why not give her a blue one or a green one? Advertising people know what they want their ads to look like, and this is totally intentional.

BLOW POPS will tear your mouth up. There is a sharp edge that develops around the edge after your saliva breaks down the candy shell. It scrapes skin off the roof of your mouth. The candy is GREAT but it leaves you with the gum to soothe your pain.

Nobody seems to remember this one and I can't find it anywhere.

actually they did for awhile....but I don't think it went well with the change so they went back to the classic wrapper...they did change the bags, and boxes which I much like have the classic blow pop design, the new design on the bags is lame...

I enjoy them, but once it gets near the gum, then I just toss it...cause the gum is nasty...sucks for bubbles...and it's no where near soft.

This commercial was brought back in 1987 (and to kids my age, it looked INCREDIBLY dated then!) They added video-generated "Charms" text on top of the bubble footage, expanding at the same time as the bubble.
