I don't think it is so bad the diesel engine for porsche Cayene because it is SUV the same with a WV Tuareg or Audi Q7

A diesel is pretty odd for a Porsche but then again, so was an SUV. The cayenne is a nice one though, it actually works as an SUV. The diesel increases its functionality as such because its abundant low end torque is way more useful off road than some high revving petrol engine.

And because its a Porsche you can drive it like a rally car as well :)

The Porsche Cayenne is not only designed for luxury, but safety as well. I've driven the non-diesel version for a weekend and I can tell you all, that the Cayenne is of the highest quality that money can buy. The American SUVs are mostly made with cheap plastic dashes and cheap construction on a heavy frame, but when you sit in a Porsche Cayenne, your mind starts to wonder off and you just start to realize, "WOOW, this is why the Germans are #1 in making quality autos!"

Porsche already gave the specs. 35mpg on highway and 24 on city. Not bad for an SUV that can go 133mph.
