  • Only took it a few seconds at 5000rpm to spool up the oversized turbo. Next time, properly match the turbo to the engine and it will run a LOT better and it won't smoke so bad!

  • @Turbo617 lol yeah 1.3 liters of quick reving on demand power and they only break apex seals if u keep the omp....deleting that shit and premixing is the way to go...man u must drive a caravan...cause u think anything remotely cool or interesting is dumb...have fun carting ur 3 black kids from some other dude around..and the fact all u said was apex seal means u probably only looked up a rotary for about 4 sec cause that isnt the #1 thing that breaks on rotarys...maybe #100 most common problem

  • @durtled 1.3 liters of gutless mush until 6000rpm. Even the turbo and twin turbo ones are completely gutless on the street unless you revv the piss out of them.

  • @Turbo617 also i think a head gasket takes about half an hr to do blowing his shit is just part of putting on a good show...u obv have never experianced the power of a diesel....go get a 300sd take the mufflers off and put a cone directly on the turbo...these engines are one of the best engines ever made 500k no problem

    FYI, putting a "cone on the turbo" and taking off the mufflers does NOTHING for power. That pussy cone is actually SMALLER in surface area than the stock filter. The only thing you increased is induction noise, not power.

    Unless you turned up the injection pump, youre still making STOCK power.

  • This is nice, but still, NOTHING BEAT CUBIC INCHES. American V8 has everything that Euro/Asian motors don't have. Bigger the engine, bigger the power what you made out of it. Simple :) And it's more reliable than little engines with big horsepowers.

  • @Jubr123 In addition to bigger fuel consumption and bigger weight. The main thing 'Merican anchors don't have even remotely close to is horsepower per cubic inch. That 3.0L OM606 is making 166hp/L. A 6.2L Corvette ZR-1 only makes 102hp/L.

  • @LovesToDrift - German cars have proper engineering. They gave people more than they need. M5 for example. It took the life of the M5 (1985 - till of recent) before a domestic car even come close to it. The CTS-V, & only due to parts sharing (LS7).

    I wont comment on the engine battle you guys got going on. But i will add, For a while Euro/Asian, has had motors that were near or over 1 hp per cubic inch of displacement except us, till of recent. Simple proof at its best.

  • @DetroitDieselBob Detroit diesels are the best made. The 5.7 litre (which is this one) 6.2 litre and 6.5 litre. Why I love the one in my caddy, i blew the crank last night, but repaired it, now im driving it again. They are such good motors they just keep going especially the 5.7 litre GM
