Geraldine ruined this video (and probably part of your experience). I couldnt continue watching after the 3:30 mark because she seems like such a drag. I hope for your sake that she was feeling sick or deathly afraid, and that was why she stopped even trying to have a little fun.

How loud is it in the cockpit? Is there always that woosh of air, or do some gliders have more soundproof cockpits? I don't see people wearing the headsets, and you can hold a conversation just fine inside them it seems, but I personally think that woosh would get annoying after awhile...

@b0n3z3z Much as old cars tend to suffer more wind noise than new ones, due to advances in efficiency of design, panel sealing and the like, older gliders tend to make a bit more noise than new ones. This particular glider is relatively old.

So much fun -- dad used to be a pilot, I ran the van as a teenager to retrieve the glider from the end of the runway. Good naps while he was training for his license! Too bad there weren't any cumulus clouds for you -- good lift! Stomach sometimes has a little trouble though. Smooth ride on nice days, awesome view w/glass canopy.
