HOw long does it usually take to apply? I've been wanting to apply my own relaxer but didnt know how long it would take or if it was safe. I stopped letting my mom do it b/c she put it on ALL of the hair. If you can help me further i would thank u and great vid!

@littleflaggirl Application is based on how quickly you can get through all of your hair and get it smoothed out. Each brand has suggested times that it should take to apply.

no base b4 the actual product? My stylist uses a base......vaseline is good too.

It works any hair that needs to be straigtened. Always do a test patch and read all directions carefully.

In the video I am using TCB, but the best is Olive Oil. I do switch up so my hair doesn't get resistent. I am currently using Hawaiian Silky it is a very good brand to use too.

great video.. the only thing i suggest is that you perm the outside of your hair line last cause thats the weekest part of your hair, but good video

Thank you for your video, Lakota. I am taking my Cos Instructor exam soon and it has to be a 45 min lesson on virgin chem relaxer. Any other suggestions would be huge-ly appreciated.
