I love how evil emperor mateus is, but I gotta ask I heard it somewhere that the reason for his madness is because a thief stole his daughter, is any of that true?

@raeven1212 No... thats a story from Palamecia (the empire he rules) about the previous emperor that challenged the world to see who could reach his daughter on a high floor of his castle, and someone reached his daughter whit a hot air balloon, and that emperor became mad. But Mateus is just evil.

that only appeard in this cutscence and in the opening move of Dissidia where Mateus triggered a Light Crest underneath Tina (aka Terra) which sprouted the same bombs around her...However, in the upcoming prequel Dissidia Duodecim...Mateus now actually has a new HP attack where plants a light crest on the ground as a mine, where if ppl step on it...the bombs will sprout up and explode...just like the one in this ...as of the name... i dont kno the translation yet

I am starting to think that this is a language thing, because I notice this in just about every anime. The Japanese voices always have a lot more emotion and intensity in their voice, I think that is just how Japanese is spoken. It doesn't seem to translate well to English though.

I like the direction they went with his voice, he really does sound like a stuck up aristocrat. However, in my head I always pictured him sounding more like Ghaleon from the Lunar series, so there's some adjustment there. next week will be the hero and villan of FF3, the week after is FF4, then FF5

im sure they will mannage to fit all 10 FF's into the next few weeks before dissidias english release

at the rate of one per week, FFX will be shown after Dissidia is released. It's not fair. I've preordered it to get it day of release and I have to wait until then to see/hear english Tidus in action! :P Emperor is spot on. So far the villains sound great and the heroes are pretty good (still need getting used to OK, but I will)!
