That orange tabby had NO place to hide from the other cat, he had NO means of escape so his reaction is completely justified. I guarantee the exact same thing would happen if this were a video of dogs instead of cats. It is the 'flight or fight' response. That cat's flight option was taken away from him, so he had NO OTHER OPTION.
