Series 1 and 2 ftw, been a fan since they first aired. The 3/4 just didn't know their place it was like they were trying to reconstruct the first two. The fifth was like a new burst of life. I love Effy but they should of kept her quiet instead of making her talk so much in my opinion

gen one was okay, mabey im biased cause i watched gen 2 first , but besides cassie the female leads were totally unapealling. and im not talking about looks hers and jans personality were totally unapealling. were as emily, naomi, katie, effy and pandora were all great. but over all chris death and naomi and emilys relationship were big hilights for me. so gen 1 and 2 haters we should band togethor and hate those who deserve it ie. gen 3s.

Gen 2 just tried to be like Gen 1 which was impossible, and Gen 5 I think is good because it;s not like their trying to be like the rest of them, but still it'll never be as good as the first generation ! <3

I think it depends on what series you got into skins! For me I started watching series 3 and 4 first because I could totally relate to emily and thats why I watched it, now its really hard for me to watch series 1 and 2, and even harder to comprehend a series 5 and 6 with different people! I just dont want to let emily and naomi go!!! =(

Well when I first heard about skins it was halfway through either series one or two so when I watched an episode it just looked dismal, confusing and depressing to me. So it put me off for a number of years until a friend said I reminded her of Emily and thats why I started watching it from series 3

Effy in series 1 and 2 = Mysterious, interesting, active, etc she was SUCH a good character even if she was kind of a backgrounder.

Effy in series 3 and 4 = Ruined the mysterious aspect of her which made her good. Someone else should have been the 'main girl' and Effy should have stayed as she was.

When she didn't talk it just made her cooler.

Cassie was the best character btw.
