Mohammad Rafi was one of the best singers that have ever lived. That is why I hate to be so overly critical, but Rafi Sahab's pronunciation is not correct. I wish that music director or his co-singer would have helped him with it.

@KeatsAli I think his pronunciation comes from Urdu. Urdu and Dari are pronounced differently, though the words are the same, so I gather.

salam, very nice song, i just want to make it clear, Marhoom Rafi did not come to afghanistan, this was a trip that Khanum Zheela had taken in 1965 to india.she and Ustad Kheyal had stayed at his house for a week and this duet song and another Dari song by him only was recorded.

@fraidoon2005 Thanks dude to make it clear! to be honst I didt know, just I thought might Rafi came to Afghnstn, while the reality is otherwise. sadly, in case of Afghans artist there is no extact data like biography , afghans they whatever they like and the can be bothered about others things, this our nature, afgahn are coool..Rafi sings wonderfully even in Dari in this song.

i dont think rafi sahab ever went to afghanistan. as far as i know this was recorded in india. she should have never singed with him. she can not keep up with him. this is just wrong u can not just have just a average singer sing with a such a legendary god gifted singer. i know rafi sahab was so humble like an angel that he accepted her singing with him but why would every one else allow this.
