I don't think he used any overly complex language that escapes the grasp of everyday people. Then again maybe that's what Tom Kapinos is getting at about society. People are less educated (which is the fault of the public schools) and more importantly less concerned with education (which is the fault of the individual). In America, there is a rapidly declining interest in literature and the sciences. People go to business schools to become corporate drones and don't learn to think. It's sad.
