The show itself is way better than how it seems if you haven't seen it yet. I've seen it twice and I really want to see it again! There are some fantastic elements of the show (costumes, design, etc), and the score is incredible (I'm a U2 fan so I'm a bit biased there). Everyone should at least give the show a chance, I understand people's problems with it but it truly is a fun show to see.

May I say something,those people who hate this show SHUT UP! This show has been criticized since the idea was first stated many years ago. I am a broadway person and I would amity that when i fist thought of this idea i believed it was going to be stupid but believed that this show would "Rise Above" and become the underdog of the season which is what it was. In fact it was listed on Broadway.com most popular shows list right under Wicked and Lion King so it should not be that bad!

If I HAD to choose a Marvel character to have it's own broadway show, it'd be the Hulk, not Spider-man. Yes Spider-man would look impressive, but the Hulk would have contemplating roles of "man vs beast", sorta like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Of course a broadway version of Hulk wouldn't be as illiterate as saying lines like "Hulk Smash!" the actor would have to look the part (big/muscular) but also be able to hit the right notes.
