Very cool, but I'm still not sure how Sanzo was able to jump up just as high as Hakkai and Goku (at 3:16, when they were fighting the bug). They all seemed to fly, lol.

XD Yes I know what you mean. Pretty much it seems as if they pulled a "Bleach" on us.

But it was the first Saiyuki animation out at the time, so I guess it was their attempt of making it look "more active".

う～ん、やっぱり関さんサイドのキャストの方が、キャラらしさが出てて好きですね；

何だか三蔵も明るすぎだし、悟空も悟空じゃない。

今のキャストで作り直さないかな～。

Thanks for the OVAs! I guess to sum it up, it's basically a mixture of the episodes in the manga. Mifa looks a little like Homei and her aunt is like Shunrei's aunt. ^^ And Yaone's loyalty to Kougaiji...and the giant bug instead of a crab. XDDD

It sounds wierd without any of the ones we're used to. I'm glad they changed it from these guys to the ones in the rest of the series.

Just curious, but can you tell me where I can download these eps? I don't mind getting the raw versions. I'd just like to be able to use them for AMVs.

^_^ I was able to download them through my live journal account. On he site theres a group called Saiyuki_media where Saiyuki fans get together. Share file downloads, pictures, info etc.
