Great ...since i found and listened to Durutti column i listen every day ....Trying to get LC seems like getting hold of Rocking Horse Shit but i will wait...These tracks are excellent.thanks for putting this on You Tube.
Factory even had a classical imprint for a while. Tony Wilson might not have owned a pocket calculator but he was certainly a diverse and much missed figure.
These great videos are taken from a recording at the Cambridge Corn Exchange when DC were supporting the David Byrne's "Intruders at the palace" concert. It's very similar to "Finding the Sea" although much shorter than other live versions and also resembling other tracks over the years.
epic song.

Fantastic couple of tracks.
I love Red Shoes, it's one of the best tracks ever made.
In this same gig there was a band who sang a song called 'Turtle Song' it was a great song, does anyone know how to find any of that bands material?

That'll be Hugo Largo. I keep meaning to upload those songs as well. I've got the whole programme on DVD if you're interested.

He is a genius. Pure genius. This is God's music :)
Anyway, isn't this one including a vocal sample of Annie Lennox, supposed to be called 'Finding the Sea' on the VR album?

Vini always seemed out of place on the Factory roster his music is just to progressive.love it though

Ive allways thought that too,but its good to see that Tony didnt just stick to Goth,Dance and New Wave bands.

Thank you! Great stuff from Vini and co. The first song is 'Finding the Sea' from the Vini Reilly album I think.
