Yeah i agree his tut is dumb as shit, but basically what you do is this. You take a photo, any photo, and then use curve tool and click on every point of that photo that stands out, then select points (little black cursor) and hit bend button, then you simply adjust the the curve to match the shape. Color it, add details and transparency. Since your comment is 2 months old you probably know this by now but i decided to reply anyway.
