  • since most people cant seem to figure it out, these are re-enactments of actual reports.

  • Go after Taco Bell! Close them!

  • This has got too be fake.

  • Isn't the HACCP system obligatory in USA?

  • ahhh lol ahh cmon this cant be right lol cmon man lol

  • How come the guy who removed the white in the thia resturant was the same one who was picking buggers over the food????????

  • Well all we have is his word for all this, the worst things happened on a show that actually went into restaurants and showed you first hand.

  • what if theres a bar/nightclub that is falling apart and wouldnt pass inspection, who do you call for? especially if the building is really old and isnt up-to-date with building codes?

  • Have you heard that saying 'only in America'. Well guess what - this happens world wide. Where there is poor design and poor supervision- people are set up for failure. Design it and supervise it so there is no excuse for failure. And fail they will.

  • Notice he takes his glasses off every time he tells a bad joke?

  • i made the mistake of watching this wile eating

  • I just watched this video on a course today, it's hilarious

  • lol the guy peed on the floor

  • Yeah I hope this is fake also. I'm sure stuff like this is real though.

  • No this is very possibe I've been working in the food industy for a long time and yes this is very real and possible!! think about it

  • I work in a restaurant as an cook, and if I saw any of this going on where I worked I would drop kick someone. Disgusting so disgusting.

  • Come on guys, these are all re-enactments of incidents the health inspector had witnessed. Hard to believe there are such disgusting things going on behind the closed doors. Barf!

  • i think... (and i hope) this is a fake. Mouse can not wait inspector at the right moment. Possible it is a rebuilding of real cases.

  • ralph!

  • the fakest thing ive ever seen..

or at least one of them, but i like the funny inspector

i know its fake cuz the wouldnt do it in front of an inspector/camera lol.

  • They are reenactments.

  • these are actors right?

    even the mouse

  • We all need to know what goes on in restaurants! Keep this site going and up dated!

  • it's worse than spitting on the food

  • 1:02 one of them smiles :/

  • There was a Chinese restaurant I used to go to in Vancouver called The Villa. Very dirty place but the food was pretty good. Like other Chinese restaurants in the area, they'd hang bbq pork and duck in the front window. One day one of the waitresses went to get some bbq meat and sneezed all over the stuff hanging there. And then she sneezed on the meat a second time, aye! Don't think I ever went back again.

  • dirty bastards!!

  • its all real reports just reanactments

  • Is this even real?

Good thing I almos never eat out.

  • lol, i totally forgot about that joke with the mouse in the marinade

  • seems like "motivational" video that should come standard with every restaurant. haha

  • The thing that nauseated me the most was the host of this show.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO ME & MY SISTER watch it all the time the inspector is so so funny! I mean it's disgusting

  • That is disgusting. thanks for posting this. i will definately be more observant next time I go to a restaurant!

  • gross!!! I'm not eating out for at least a week!

  • the cats were in the kitchen because they were needed for one of the entrees

  • lol... is that supposed to be funny?

  • Although it shouldn't take an "amazing" inspections schtick to inform/educate people about the risks lurking inside commercial kitchens, sometimes a little bit of drama (okay, song and dance too) can help to rouse the rabble that put up with the conditions depicted above.

  • why would the resurants employees behave like this infront of the inspectors

  • It is a reenactment cant you see it?

  • he looks like he went to too many restraunts lol

  • so the storys are real but the videos are just re-acted? becuase i dont think somone would pick their nose RIGHT IN FRONT OF A RESTERANT INSPECTOR AND A CAMERA!

  • They're just Reenactments. But based on what really happened.

  • I always check these things first:

    1) The garbage area in the back of the facility. On a scale of 1 to 10. 1 is rotting slime and tissue flowing into the drainage swale. 10 is just washed down with still visible soap bubbles. If it's 8 I'll go in and check..

    2) The men's restroom.

  • And then you find a fly strip with a 'No Vacancy' sign on it... rofl

  • buy the looks of the host, it doesnt look like any of this is stopping him from eating fast food

  • OMG disguisting this is making me sick. Oh no!! I don't need no mouse to stir my drink, or food.

  • Mouse doing "the backstroke" LOL! Very funny and at same time sad for the restaurant industry. Very "well done" video - no pun intended!

  • Heheh. Nice. All the more reason to avoid fast food and try to keep places I generally trust.

Though I didn't appreciate the Dirty Jobs parody too much.

  • I laughed and felt sick at the same time.

  • The best way to see if a restaurant is kept clean is go to the washroom. If it's dirty leave. Never send your food back, order something else. Look at the cultery for things like stains, food particals. The staff, are they clean. The floors. Simple observations weeds out the majority of eateries, and finally try to go to chainfood restaurants, they're not all clean, but the majority are.

  • Er, the Olive Garden is no solution for healthy fine dining.

  • i dont think it was real... how could it be that bad

  • lol i love the mouse!

  • Obviously all reenactments. Still, I enjoyed the humor throughout. Otherwise this video would have been pretty bland and not worth watching.

  • And people are worried about Lemons, I think there are a lot more problems than that.

  • funny demonstration.

I used to work at a kfc when i was younger and the manager wore really really dirty clothes all the time, it was like he never wash them ever! and Ive seen his hair on the counter, tongs, rags, and cutting board.

Yall shouldnt eat at kfc because they dont clean their chicken before cooking them. you might be eating fried feathers if your not looking at what youre eating.

  • all this might be true i´m a cook and had seen worse things

  • excellent videos and reports regarding

    restaurant inspections.Very informing. All

consumers should see these videos before eating

out. Keep up the excellent work.

  • So what is that mouse doing in the marinade? Looks like the backstroke! LOL Old joke.

  • Health inspectors don't have a camera man during inspections. So you need to know all of the "video" has been recreated.

  • clean or not, I but this guy has ate at each of the restaurants

  • ahhhh kawaii nekos!!

  • i believe the best solution would be to install video cameras at as many locations needed to clean up their establishments.

  • They could have picked a neater looking person to play the inspector!!! No hat & a bushy beard, yuck!

  • No way this is real. Nobody would do this stuff in front of both a health inspector AND someone with a video camera.

  • Please, the reports are real. The video is just a dramatization.

  • It's a re-enactment.

  • i am informed , thanks alot

  • this is just wronge,I dont think I will be eating out ever again. And I am never eating hamburger again.. people are just gross!!!

  • It is too bad that this is not based on real reports since there are some really nasty things going on in the restaurant industry. My rule of thumb is to check the bathroom upkeep. If the bathroom is nasty, chances are that the kitchen is too. I leave.

  • This is based on real reports.

  • Exactly - these are reinactments of real events--maybe they should start filming their inspections--all the more reason to pray over your food before you eat...

  • @sdcamp5 This may just be a recreation.

  • I worked at a Comfort Inn in Florida and one of the owners would take food out of the rooms that people had opened and put it back out on the breakfast bar so that they could save money.

  • I hate to this management who cant keep this establishment clean

  • Very true. I worked in a restaurant that reused cheese and crackers set out on the tables. You would just scoop the cheese into a bucket and then re-scoop it for your next table!! Also, when you cleaned the salad bar, there were roaches everywhere!! Needless to say, I got into it with the owner and quit do to the filth.

  • Cmon weenies, this is nothing compared to the slaughterhouses and factories. The only difference is that a restaurant is zero tolerance and are publicly reported. Commercial plants are exempted from public scrutiny AND are allowed to have a limited portion of hair/rodents parts/insects per capacity in any given batch...

  • How about a slice of pie? Ah, no thanx.

  • I worked at Pizza Hut in 1992. I saw the boss painting an order printer that was located directly above the pizza sauce. He did not bother to remove or cover the sauce first to prevent the paint from dripping into it. He was doing this as part of his preparation for a scheduled visit by the health inspector. They should have more surprise inspections.

  • So you found these inspection reports... how? and then filmed these scenarios to play them out?

  • All violations are posted at the restaurant. I've looked at a few. Mostly on the wall behind the cash register. The ones I looked at were for improper temperature control.

  • I believe every bit of it. I worked as a night manager of a KFC in northern Detroit in the early '80s. We'de take whole live frogs and toads and batter and fry them up. We never had a unhappy customer.

  • I have always been suspicious about eating restaurant food, even the most exclusive ones.!

  • That guy annoys me. And the song at the end really grated on me, too.

  • I am clearly speechless. It's just insane the things they found. I'm not so sure I can eat out ever again!

  • Even tho these are remakes, they are still from actuall reports!! Anyone with a brain would have picked that up! lol

Very informative!!! I worked in resturants for years, I am THIRLLED to see someone bring crap that goes on in them to light!!! Keep up the good work exposing these "dirty" resturants & employee neglegance!!! KUDOS!!!!

  • Wow. Interesting and shocking video. Unfortunately though, I just lost my apetite. X_X

  • Too bad they disabled the video embedding, I would have posted it at my blog.

  • Didn't realize it was setup that way, it has been changed, embed away.

  • Thanks. It is a cool video. People do not realize how little oversight restaurants have. Some of them are totally filthy. Even when they are caught, they get lots of chances to clean up for the re-inspection.

  • Oh, I love this thing! The inspector @ O'Charleys was saying O'brother! rofl

  • it's called a REMAKE you idiots

  • I want to be a health inspector!!!

  • this shit is so fake health inspectors are not allowed to videotape any of the inspections, come on

  • It was never said that the video is from actual inspections, the violations mentioned are.

  • actually they are. It is in the constitution that a public service worker is allowed to use recording equipment. Read your facts buddy. As far as this video goes though it is all a remake. Though Health inspectors do use hidden cameras all the time... legally.

  • Yes, that IS disturbing

  • Odd presentation, but the information is golden... and of course really fucking disturbing.

  • Sweet Bicyclin' Jesus! I...I...er....

I got nothin' Excuse me I'm going to barf up a lung now.

  • That ought to keep me away from restaurants for a while! :)
