LOL! I starting playing this game 2 weeks ago. People are so freaking mean its unbelievable! I feel so much better I decided to youtube the game and see all these comments about how terrible the community is. I never played a game like this so yeah I was terrible at first. I am glad I stuck with it though I feel now I can at least contribute to my team and I like the gamelay. Seriously though people need to relax in this game I mean its a freaking F2P game. O.o

i play both LoL and HoN all i noticed was that the people in HoN are ass holes, and by that i mean they are huge flamers, LoL was better at easing you into the game, and HoN didn't care. But that's how the games were designed, and it will attract the type of people it want's to. all in all HoN has a ton of ass holes who think this game as their life and will die if they loose a battle, while LoL is more laid back, not a casual game, but a game where if you want to have fun without flamers

I agree, I thought i would be able to get right into game and be able to at least know what i'm doing because i play LOL but a lot of the time I didn't know what was attacking me, or why the turret was attacking me, the camera was a bit weird for me, i didn't understand the items etc. I told everybody there that it was my very first game on HON but they were still raging at me and telling me to stay at base. Surprised to find a community worse than LOL

@IceShadow131 Dota (defense of the ancients) was the original MOBA game (to my knowledge) and ur in luck they are making Dota 2 so try that. both LoL and HoN came from Dota. HoN stayed pretty close to Dota's style of graphics and a lot of the heroes, LoL kinda took it's own turn on the genre.

@rotate1950 Denying is a really important part of the early game in HoN. Trust me I didn't see the importance of it either until I played a game as a item dependent hard carry ( scout ) back in beta and got completely shut down in my lane because I couldn't get the gold or the experience because I was getting all my potential last hits denied. It might seem annoying at first but once you focus on doing it a for a couple of games it will become second nature.
