YEAH! I'm use to do a lot of video editing, and feel exactly the same way. The only reason I had a mac was for Final Cut Pro. I have moved to photography as my main source of income and have gotten rid of my mac. I still do the odd bit of video editing, but use Premiere, even though it isn't as good as FCP, it is less frustrating than using a mac.

I owned a series of Windows machines and after years of hearing how wonderful Macs are, I bought one. It cost 3 times what the Dell I bought for my wife cost, has the same RAM and Hard Drive space, but only two USB ports, the Dell has 4. Oh, the Mac has two fire-wire ports and I did finally buy an external hard drive that plugs into one of them so they are not wasted. One way Mac beats Dell is that it shuts down in 15sec. Otherwise, not worth the money.

Many countries military forces use Red Hat Enterprise Linux for nearly everything. The buoys monitoring ocean activity around the UK all use Wolvix. Android is based on the Linux Kernel and I use it for my day to day computing. It does all this and so much more while being totally free! Go home to your overpriced Apple or malware laden Windows. I'm fine where I am.

@SeriouslyNotHelpful, I recognize linux, but most people don't need it even if nasa uses it. linux is mostly annoying and malnourished without a robust software set. apple is such an over rated, over priced silly thing that it's pointless. Pretty much anything can be done under windows 7, and it's so stable and secure it's not a problem. Add a simple backup that EVERYONE should have no matter the platform, and it's bullet proof. Actually I've not needed to restore in 2 years anyway.

Windows XP SP2 and higher actually come with an automatic virus removal tool (That actually works very well) so I think we're pretty safe on this side here...I actually think Macs & PCs are the same, just function and look different.
