Just so that no one thinks that MEMYSELFANDI422 knows what they are talking about, blue coloration as well as fawn in dobermans is in no way related to the 'Z' or albino coloration, that has been linked with health prblems. They are normal colors related to the same genes that decide if a doberman is black or red. People should educate themselves before purchasing a puppy or spreading false information that could be harmful about a puppy's breeding. These puppies have no defective genes.
I think God loves all His creation the same, that being said, what a beautiful video. My husband and I have a doberman and it is so unique to see how much different dogs of the same breed resemble one another.
Just so that no one thinks that you actually know what you are talking about, the"Z" gene has nothing to do with the dilution gene responsible for blue and fawn colorations in dobermans. The 'z' gene is just a name for the registration option for dogs carrying albinism. Fawn and blue are normal dilutions associated with the same genes that make black and reds. Educate yourself before getting your doberman, or spreading deleterious info to others....
Dude... if this is true then WHAT on earth were you thinking? If he is your dog YOU feed him and if you don't have the time don't take a doberman. Dobermans are for life!
nice video but in a way i have a bit of a dissagreement with the part where you say "you are more valuable to god than these dogs" just because humans are watching these videos doesnt mean god would give up any dog for any human, dogs are verry prescious.Especially dobermans!! though beautiful video
I know it's worded kinda bad. I never said dogs were of NO value. I wasn't trying to say anything negative at all. But we are made in His image and likeness, and were created to have dominion over all the animals. After all, when God created the animals He said it was good, but when He created man he blessed them. So we must hold a little higher ranking than the animals if we have dominion and were blessed. Gen. 2. Just my thoughts. I think all of God's creations are awesome!
i have a 2 dobermans male and a female which gave me a couple of dozens puppies before and they are truly amazing, and a rotweiler too, in terms of house security i probably got the best perimeter, guard dogs ever...
I'm about to get my dobie in the next week or two. Our friends dobes had 8 pups too. I've already picked my lil boy. ^_^ Can't wait. Very Nice Vid. Love the ending. God does make awesome creations.
wot a gr8 vid i luv these dogs they r the most loving and loyal dog ever. im now looking 4 a pup as my 12 yr old dobermann jack died 2 days ago from heart failure im gutted! RIP jack x x
hi i just recently bought a male red dobe he is just 8 weeks old, i am about to have him a week, was wondering any one has tips about what to do with the dobe, and i was planning to crop his ears. any suggestions?
They need lots of exercise and need to be socialized. If they aren't exercized they can get distructive out of boredom, especially when their puppies. If their not socialized they may bark at anything and everything just because it's not in the norm for them.
I think it might be to late to do the ears. I think there are supposed to be done at 6 weeks. I personally wouldn't have it done.
Dobies have to be the best. Yet so many people think they are agressive and mean. Yes, some can be trained to be mean, but almost all are such big babies. They are a really loving breed.
my doberman trys to act tough but hes a complete coward even my jack russell puts him in his place. dobermanns are very easy to train unfortunately people train them to be aggresive its all in the owner. other cases our when people buy these dogs but have know idea what there taking on they are very head strong and get bored easily which leads to destructive behaviour and other bad behavior.
Beautiful video! I remember when mine were little...they even smell cute! Regarding stephshane1's posting asking if they run off, it's all in the training. Mine never do but I learned the correct way to train them to stay with me through positive reinforcement training.
How absolutely heartwarming! This makes me reminisce about my Doberman boy (back when he was that tiny)! They grow so fast! Seeing your wonderful furry family makes me want another of those gorgeous dogs!

I thought doberman ears were pointed, or are they clipped to make them pointed?
BarakIII 2 years ago
they're taped up for months until they stand on their own and clipped to make them pointed. Personally I don't really see the point..

I'm sure you don't have flawless genes either, but your still lovable just as much as these pups.

I wasn't saying they were not beautifull, they are its just when i get a dobe i want a flawless one :-) sorry if i offended you ... its only honesty

Well, great dobes with great mentality I guess
Wish mine St Bernard wasn't as fairy as he is, spoiled by his former owners [sleeping in bed & jumping on people]
Anyway, it's a nice experience to observe how he changes back to normal day by day...
