  • If you could have any car in the world... Would it be a GM ? didnt think so.

  • @Janusha If I could have any car in the world it would be a GM. Consider all the great dream cars made by GM: The Cadillac V cars (What I want), the Corvettes, etc. And then there's all the old classics: The Cadillac Fleetwood, Chevy Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, etc. There are many who would rather take these beautiful well-made cars, from GM, than any BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, anything else.

  • death to gm-all it has ever done and all it will ever do is produce bank account destroying lemons-death to gm

  • GM has not repaid the $55 bailout as they claim

part of the bailout was considered a loan so they took money from the bailout to repay the loan and then claim they paid it all in full

  • I have to give GM a lot of credit, i know just like everybody else that they had some major screw ups. Which were mainly all in upper management. But ever since the bailout they have been running the company so much more efficiantly and building trucks and cars that are very high quality and what AMERICANS WANT. Like i said, we all know they screwed up but i believe they are making big improvements. I think its a company americans can soon start taking pride in agian.

  • @SmithDetroit1

Please do name a few quality GMs. Im interested in which models you are talking about.

  • @Janusha Silverado with duramax, camero, Impalla, Corvette just to name a few... all of which are made in america except for the camero which is assembled in canada with american parts... not sure what plastic and foreign shit you are talking about cause i havnt seen it.

  • @Janusha hahahaha after looking at the type of cars you're interested in, it's no wonder you think gm is low quality. It's because they build cars for typical people who need to travel. If your talking about cars built for going 300 mph and shit, no way they're made for that. Most of the world uses vehicles to travel and commute to work. Also noticed you just are an american hater anyway.... most jealous people are. Nobody wastes time insulting countries of lower status than their own

  • @Janusha I can help you there. The new Cadillacs and Buicks have some spectacular interior materials and qualities.

  • @MrThestig8

And claim to be BMW rivals altho every single car magazine disagree. Inface Autocar said about the new Cadillac CTS-V certainly have the speed with its Corvette engine, now all they need to find are people that dont mind the overwhelming smell of glue as they enter the car. Altho I have not seen one live myself as they are rare. They struggle to sell 1000 cars in all of Europes 500 million people.

  • @Janusha I've seen about three IRL up close, and many more on the highways...I never smelled Glue...just the sweet sweet smell of leather.

  • @MrThestig8

Sure.. american cars sell in america. Sadly, nowhere else. Its so funny when suddenly leather = quality and luxury. Welcome to the 80s. Im not typing my opinions here. Its not merely my opinion that these things struggle to sell in Europe. The american idea of quality differs somewhat from ours. Instead of the squeeky plastic traditionally found in US cars, there is now squeeky plastic covered in leather.

  • @SmithDetroit1

yes.. I see how it can be difficult to name a few good GMs. Take your time.

  • @Janusha no it is not hard... I'm just not gonna get into arguments with assholes like you and everybody else that gets on here just to argue with ppl. It's my opinion, I'm not trying to change your opinion so just shut the hell up

  • @Janusha and by the way, if you are so anti-GM, why do you waste your time watching and commenting on their videos???

  • All this ridiculous american hype is mental. I just looked at the Paris motor show and checked out what GM presents.

Chevrolet Cruze made by Suzuki in Japan. Same car as the shitty Lacetti.

    Equinox is Canadian.

    Captiva = korean Daewo Windstorm.

    Chevrolet Spark = Daewo Matiz

    Chevrolet Aveo = Daewo Kalos.

What is it about this korean plastic that is worthy of your diehard patriotism ? They are never touched by american hands. infact.. does america make anything except pickup trucks ?

  • @Janusha beacause all of those autos you looked at are vehicles made in foreign countries, keep in mind that GM is a corporation based in America that has production worldwide. about three qtrs of the vehicles sold in america by gm are american made. a lot of the vehicles being sold overseas are built overseas. To my knowledge thats how they operate anyway.

  • Thats because most GMs or american cars at all are pickup trucks. They are obviously mostly made in america as no other country drives them.

Most of todays GMs are rebadged korean Daewoo cars and some are built in Mexico and Brazil. We all know quality doesnt come out of third world countries.

  • @Janusha ya i see your point

  • @SmithDetroit1

However.. If cater-for-all squeeky plastic for the masses and shameless profiteering is the goal... Then it makes perfect sense to build their cars in third world countries. Demonstrate your dislike by... not getting one.

  • i have a toyota ... fuck GM ... when you have the printing press to back your finances its really not difficult to pay back the loan ... this GM commercial is ridiculous ... This guy is CEO for name sake only ... US treasury owns 70% of GM

  • They like to say they have paid it all back ahead of time. But god damnit. What they have paid back is a mere fraction of the 100 billion dollar help package the US-industry recieved. Hes talking about some measly 1-2 billion dollar loans. Only 2-3 months ago Obama had to fork out another billion dollars to clean out 90 !!!! factories GM left behind when they downsized from 80 000 workers in Michigan to 7000. And here he is.. Pretending its business as usual. Todays GMs are korean Daewoo.

  • gm rock but im still not buying until they bring pontiac back

  • Made in America? Let's see. If I buy a $15 t-shirt made in China, screen print my logo on it and then sell it to you for $16, who gets rich? Me? Where does your money go? Stop buying Japanese. The job you save might be your own.

  • Someone from GM posted this commercial, yet wouldn't allow ratings or comments. I guess they know that we know it's BS...they just don't care. LIES, LIES, LIES. That's what I think of when I see any GM brand. We were good enough to bail them out, but not good enough to be entrusted with the truth. Let's hope they find themselves in a similar situation again.

  • YOU LIE!

  • Say no to socialism say no to GM! Their cars are made in Canada and Mexico anyway, toyotas and nissans are made here and haven't asked us tax payers for a dime. R.I.P. GM!

  • @chums2007 FUCK YOU . . Toyotas are Nissans are made by fucking JAPS !.. or non Union fuckheads .making 4.50 an hour I live in America . .and i'll buy American ! . Your right .. some parts are made around the globe . .but for the most part . The cars are built here in America buy hard working Americans !

You want to vent on Obama and our government . .. FIne .. god bless you . .But don't take it out on the American Worker !

  • @baberuthistheman - are you serious? Educate yourself. I am ALL for the American worker and American Union workers. Toyotas are not made by "F'ng JAPS making 4.50 an hour" - they are made by American workers in Indiana, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky and West Virginia, while Nissans are made in Smyrna TN among other places. You want to play the ugly American (i.e."f'ing JAPS -), knock yourself out but get your facts straight

  • Ford should make a commercial in counter to this "we are the only true independent American car company and we thank you" or something like that

  • @alexander1485 I Know!

  • He like the video on youtube when car dealers attack Ed thinks that assault video on women and children in front of his arizona dealership is good for business He like the part when the kids cry O my god or the part when the lady was sexaual assaulted and her breast was grab by the saleman He and the board member have no problem with the dealerships is the one that sells the most import ,He going to start sucking cock in the nissan on his cell phone see the video gm gateway to hell

  • GM rips off customers and doesn't honor it's warranties.

    GM ads are all lies.

That's WHY there are over seven million GM hate sites on the internet, and why Ed is afraid to meet me on TV and confront my evidence of how GM cheats customers.

At least the "japs" as you call them, are HONEST.

  • @FloridaBiker Toyota is falling apart there so called quality that people in this country who actually value our heritage knew they were full of shit for years and now the truth is coming out ! Since the media doesnt report it, even before the Toyota meltdown GM's share of the U.S marketplace was ahead of Toyota ,and now since there true colors have been explosed on there shitty over priced cars, things are getting even better for Our Vehicles ! Sweet Justice

  • @FloridaBiker thats not true, Toyota hired some of the crash test/safety people to cover up their mistakes and didn't official announce they had problems until like 30 people died... or something to that effect... its still being investigated.

  • this is an awesome commercial. i dont see the japs coming up with anything this good.

  • Way to go GM!! Love your cars and always will. Lets pull for the home team folks and quit supporting the big bosses in Tokyo who have nothing to do with our driving heritage and only want your money in japan.
