This film is just propaganda... In North Korea there isn't poor or inequality... All these problems was solved by the socialism. South Korea was occupied by the U.S. in 1950, and his "president" was a dictator elected by the U.S. . North Korea was and is the REAL korea. You just doesn't know anything about North Korea cause this film is the South Korea and U.S. version of the story.

why can't they just put aside their differences? then again, it's easier said than done... but seriously. it's not worth the number of lives to be wasted. every man who had died in the war could have had a wife, children and even parents to take care of. for every teen soldier, their futures have all been snatched away from them... destroyed by the war... such a pity and waste...

However, what you said is right, every man could have a family, all of their dreams shattered because of an endless conflict. Democracy and Communism cannot live as one, they are enemies, their ideals are different. It is such a shame that the soldiers will end up in their special graves called the battlefield.

Kim Jong-il and the other political Communist of NK deserve to die, but the people I feel sorry for. 3 million children starved to death in North Korea. NK has having food and money crises. They're also the most secretive country in the world. They live very poor, they don't have electric, they don't have food and they have to share houses with other families that the government gives them. And 200,000 people are in Prison Camps.

im a 12 year old Korean  (North and South) who lives in America and it brings me to tears to see war. The Korean war makes me very emotional and this war makes me saddest. Why did North Korea have to be filled with Communists?? Stupid Communism!! Why couldn't the world be peaceful??

I thank all the braves soldiers who died to defended South Korea's freedom from Communism. My grandpa fought in this war and luckily he made it through, but others they weren't so lucky. War just makes me cry!

North Korea was communist because only the communists could supply them with weapons to fight the Japanese. Kim-il Sung was a patriot and defended the Korean people against Japanese rule, and after WW2 he continued his mission to unite a Korea independent from foreign rule, against the United States. You must understand this.

**Many North Korean officers in the Korean war were veterans against the Japanese.

Others fight to simply conquer the world. For example, Communism has been a threat to the US for a long time. Your gramps is a lucky man, you know, my gramps fought in the war too. He might have fought alongside your gramps. Just be happy that you weren't born at the time when Russia was a superpower country.
