  • Oh hey! Have you tried - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my brother in law got ripped Six pack abs and lost lots of belly fat with it.

  • Does this help lose weight as well or will you be the same weight but with aflatter belly :) im 13stone and have a podgy belly and realy want to get a nice flat belly for summer :) x

  • just a bit confused .... so when you exhale you pull the stomach in ?

  • So basically we just sqeeze in the muscle below the belly button while inhaling and then hold for 7 seconds?

  • This downright awesome I mean I just tried it and wow!

  • Amazing Really Works!!!! :D Thanks A Lot :)

  • @Franjinhas1 you arent doing it properly then

  • hmmm 7 seconds to flat belly and the video is 4 minutes long...

  • i dont get it... u breathe in for 7secs... then u breath out for 7 seconds and then u tighten ur wrist and pull in ur stomach.. am i doing it right?

  • Ive had 3 children, now will this still work? Thanks

  • This is amazing! My stomach was flatter in ONE day, and I'm astounded--my jeans fit me better after the first day doing this a few times, and I am hooked! I've checked your Web site--a little steep for exercise vids, but I may buy them a few at a time. I can't ignore how effective this one exercise has been already!

  • it actually feels amazing! not sure yet if it works but its worth it for the feeling!

  • @Franjinhas1 thanks! :) merry christmas!

  • @Franjinhas1 HAHAHA you made me laugh!!! ahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am laughing at a computer screen!!

  • Is this exercise only for women?

  • after exhaling,while squeezing my muscles for 7 seconds,it hurts my upper back.i mean i feel a contraction there.is it normal?please reply

  • This is such a good excercise and so easy too. Thank you!

  • @andreagabrielles, I'm so glad you likey! This easy, powerful move has given birth to a whole line of Fit Quickies at fitquickies. co m. Fun!

  • I'm dead, I'm dead, can't inhale my breath for such a long time !!!!

And during that time, what am I supposed to squeeze? Not getting the picture of this?

  • How long will it take to flaten my stomach?

I've been doing crunches and other various things for about a week-2 weeks now and nothing is happening.

    Y^Y

  • @AfroPunkprincess Pulling that deep transversus in is powerful stuff. Do this excercise every day for 10 days and you'll feel and see a difference.

For more about results others are getting with this, go to my blog, the truth about fat loss for women

  • @exhilarate123

You can, or just one set of 7 full cycles each day.

  • hey i dont understand im sorry :(

  • ooh okay so first i breathe in

and when i breathe out i push my abdominal muscles OUT? hmm i wudve guessed i suck it in

  • so i breathe in at 7 seconds, i hold it on and squeeze and then let my breath out?

  • @princessz92

    Inhale for 7.

Exhale, using abdominal muscles to squeeze the breathe out for 7

Hold the muscles low and deep in the abs for seven.

    Inhale, repeat!

  • Thank you so much!

  • @iiHugglez so glad you likey! Do 7 rounds every day for 7 days and you won't believe the difference. For audio instructional download, go to fitquickies. co m.

    Thanks for your comments!

  • Thanks. This is helpful with the Fit Quickies for Abdominals!

  • This is an amazing exercise - not hard to learn, not demanding or tiring, easy to do - and the results rock! I am a pretty slender person, although no great lover of sports. The rest of my body never showed my laziness as I have a great metabolism, but my belly was sticking out. Now it's so much better looking (meaning: it's flat!) - and I've only been doing this for a week! Awesome - thank you!

  • @uclmu2008 This is great news! I appreciate that you came by to tell me about your great results!

  • This is amazing!

    Thanx.

  • A very helpful video. I have to ask though, I am very slim and if anything am ever so slightly underweight but I have a slightly podgy stomach. How long would it take to get a toned stomach if I were to do say 40 sit ups and 10 minutes of jogging a day? Thank you.

  • @Mlini95 Do 7 rounds of the exercise twice a day, and in 3 days you'll feel a difference - after 10 even more - and use the technique of pulling the TA in during other activity and exercise

  • This really does work. I was doing this every time I drive and only doing my usual three short workouts a week. (t-tapp of course) and not eating right and I lost inches.

  • @anthson , very cool, thanks for reporting in!

    Lani

  • I did like a week and cant get it completely flat :(

    Did i did anything wrong?......

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, does this work for bloated stomachs?

  • Hi Lani, can I do this while I am sitting down?

  • Absolutely. Even while at stoplights! Great way to sneak in flat belly fitness!

    Lani

  • @mlsdd miss lani says. why even bothr to do this fatty. jus eat chees and drink beer u will have 9 packs abs..

  • sounds good but I don't really understand what i've to do , cause i'm from germany :S

  • thanks so much!! i'll try this and let you know if it actually works!! =)

  • thank you sooooooooooo much.....

  • Thanks for the video but I have a few questions:

    1. How long should you do this everyday to get a flat belly and how long does it take?

    2. Does it matter what or how much you eat?

    3. Are there any times when you shouldn't be doing it? Like after eating?

  • Initially, 3-5 sets/day.

Once you get the hang of it, you connect with the muscle workload quite quickly and it takes less reps.

Does it matter how much you eat? What is the context - you mean in terms of how much fat you carry on your belly? Of course.

You can do this anytime, though best not on a full stomach and better yet on an empty one!

  • wow cool!

    it's easier than other exercise.

    i gonna try it =]

  • how many time are you supposed to do this?

  • Hi d,

After step one, at the top of the breath, you begin to exhale right away utilizing the muscles of the abdomen to help expel the breathe.

Actually, your abdominal muscles are connected with this process anyway.. You just deepen the connection by gripping them a little harder and then holding them isometrically at the bottom of the breath.

    Lani

  • Thanks Lani!! I wil try this out immediately...

  • Hi, pls help me in understanding the procedure right...

    1. Inhale to the count of 7

    2. squeez your muscle (do i need to hold on to the count of 7???)

3.Exhale to the count of 7

  • can you after you are where you want be can you stop this

  • pfilipcic, this activity is something you'd want to keep up with. After all, gravitational pull is going to continue! Once in condition, however, you can maintain with less active participation in the exercise.

  • Hi Lani ,

Could You Just Give Me A Summery Of Exacly what i need to do , didnt really hear or understand in the video . thnx . anikay

  • Does it work for belly fat? I'm satisfied with my figure but I have too much fat in my belly. Will this help me to lose flat belly?

  • Dejka,

Fat is another issue; bodyfat stores need to be reduced overall for it to show up in the belly area. The good thing is, this excercise can decrease lower abdominal circumference as well as improve poster and appearance - important assists!

    Lani

  • i like do dance isnt that better than this???

  • For some reason my trouble spot is the upper abs. The lower could use a little work but is for the most part flat. Im sure this is from having my son. It looks bad though because i am skinny everywhere else. Will this work on the upper abs too?

  • Hi j,

Boy do I know what you mean. The melt over the belt, right? Believe me, I've had challenges with BOTH areas.

The 7 seconds move will set you up for better shape in both areas, but you can add on some isolation crunch movea to target right above the belt. Tiny moves with tons of burn really targets this area and I've seen changes withn 3-4 days of practice. Of course nutrition is a biggie here tool. Sounds like another video for this would be a good idea. Ur wish is my command!

    Lani

  • thats great, actually I used to have ballet classes when I was a little girl until my 14's and we exercised that muscle a lot. sometimes I couldn't laugh with the pain, it was hard work!

  • Dance IS an awesome workout - you really learn to isolate for ultimate control. I come from a dance background too and think it is an excellent way to stay in shape.

    Lani

  • Hi I dance 5 times a week for a huge amount of time so would it be best to do this before i go dancing also how long before?

  • i think i might be getting to work now micht not of understood the vid that well 1st time thanks anyway tho

  • Thanks for the info. I am going to try this starting today. I jog in the morning. What is most effective do I do this excercise before after jogging?

  • Hi Indigo,

PERFECT before jogging! It will set up your posture and keep you mindful of engaging abdomimals and supporting your back while you put one foot in front of the other on that jog. What a good idea!

    Lani

  • i couldnt get this to work for me plz help me.. :(

  • Sasuke - sure, can do - let me know what the sticking points are so I may assist!

    L.

  • Hey. I think i understand the process but i dont feel the pain/burn and it doesnt seem to affect my stomach..

    Thanks for your help

  • Aisha,

Try this. Go through the process as described while laying down, knees bent, feet flat on the floor. This way you will have the advantage of gravitational pull working for you.

Also, place your hands on your belly right below the belt line to increase your brain-to-body awareness.

It can take several days for the connection of contraction to kick in. Not uncommon!

Practice this for 7 or more days in a row, once or twice going through the series each day, and see!

    Lani

  • i didnt help me

  • Hi Aisha!

Let me know how I can help - what are you looking to achieve? Are you able to feel the isometric contraction of the abdominal wall? How many times did you try it? It can take a few shots at it to get the "feel" of the process.

    Thanks!

    Lani

  • I know this work out! I've been doing it all my life. I'm really young but my mom taught it to me for posture and a good workout for my vocals as well as my body and I taught it to alot of my highschool friends. I'm glad someone else knows it.

  • Hi Fly!

Well, very cool! Sounds like you have a smart mom ;-) and yes this IS a good move for several reasons.

Does your mom practice yoga? I'd be interested to know her background regarding this great little trick.

    Thanks for the share!

    Lani

  • Yes my mom was really big into yoga. She also was training for a while to become a fitness trainer and had a sheet with all sorts of good excercises. We work out together every friday and do our own routines through out the week.

  • Fly, I had a feeling - my mom taught me yoga, too. A connection we share.

Sounds like you two have a wonderful and fun relationship!

    Lani

  • Hi Lani,

I noticed that when I breath in to tighten my belly muscle I get dizzy and I even have to hold on to something? has this happened to you? or am I not doing it right?

  • It may be that you are holding the breath; allow a slow exhale as you contract, then continue to breathe normally with the isometric contraction.

You shouldn't get dizzy as there isn't a strong force of the breath or a breath hold. Thus blood pressure and other processes should not be affected.

    Hope this helps!

    Lani

  • That is exactly what I was doing, man there must be something wrong with me because what you showed was so simple.

thanks again and I will be patient.

  • I just had a baby a month ago my belly is 40 1/2" and it's my only problem, this seems to good to be true but I am anxious to see the results. I will keep you updated.

  • Hi sgs,

You WILL see results with this kind of muscle activation. Be patient with time as you do have a new little one! Diet and nutrition play a big role in abdominal fat as well, but flattening the belly from the inside with this technique can make a huge difference and boost your vitality and improve your posture as well.

Keep me posted! And thanks so much for stopping by to comment!

    Lani

  • WONDERFUL! Thank you again. =)

  • Hi Bev!

That is fantastic - and I'm glad to see your midwife has this in her arsenal of tricks to teach new moms as well!

    Thanks for sharing!

    Lani

  • Fantastically presented Lani!!! My mid wife taught this after my children were born and check my abs to make sure I was doing this at each postpartum check up. I'm grateful to her for insisting that I get my belly back~ it works!

  • WOW!!! How absolutely simple this is!!! Day one here I come!!! BTW, Lanie, your style has smoothed so much since your first video-congrats!!!
