The Broncos started the 3rd down play at the 35 and passed all the way to the 24 yard line. They got a first down and could have spiked the ball to stop the clock instead of rush the field goal unit on.

I was at this game. I believe that the last play set a record time for a special team group to run onto the field, get set, and get the snap off. I could not believe the ball was not spiked. Shanny could not tell if the 1st down was converted and obviously didn't want to spike the ball if it was 4th down Elam actually made a field goal before the half, but because Jauron called timeout he had to kick again and he missed it. Ironically, the cheap timeout tactic worked for Shanny against Oak

well im not used to watching that many last-second points on the board, and I played basketball for one season (and won the championship), and in basketball (which i still follow a little better than i ever did football), and I always saw it that the action before the ball went through the goal (kick, toss) had to happen before it struck zero, and after watching the clip a few times, i saw that the ball was kicked (action before it went through) while the clock struck zero.
