The thing about ECW (other than Vince McMahon's hatred for anything he didn't created) is that putting on ExtremeRules house shows would be too demanding for the wrestlers.
Also, with everything being ExtremeRules the brand would grow stale quikly.
And it would be hard to take a rivaly to the next level.

I would say that the old ECW had some very unsafe matches sometimes but im not going to say it sucked. I think that Heyman did a great job to bring out the best out of every wrestler.

old ECW owned, the new ECW sucks. The dude on the phone knows wuz sup. WWE and WCW ripped off ECW all the time. And ECW wasn't about no looks at all, ECW was different and that's why they had the cult like fan base.
ecw were doing attitude before anyone, ecw was an amazing show. Their pulp fiction shoots were brilliant. So many good wrestlers there, overall packages. Taz was unbelievable there. Raven! Tommy Dreamer was never that good though.
tommy never really felt like he had to do everything like other wrestlers did, he felt like he could just be himself and wrestle,and he could but at the same time, he could wrestle with the best of them, hejust never showed it. but your right about the rest.
i completey disagree with u pointman. XpW,CZW is crap! the OLD ECW is not all only hardcore it had great techical,lucha libre',and plain great wrestling! its a company that changed the wrestling world.
