    rednose kiss my sweaty arse

  • David in uniform...oh my!

  • standard...

  • Is that Neil Patrick Harris?

  • I have to say, I generally find men in uniforms irresistible but that David Mitchell... he is so sexy it makes me wanna die!!!

    *drooling*

  • This is fucking great - not so much for the sketch, but for the chance to compare these two double-acts: who would've thought that Armstrong & Miller were actually such relatively superior specimens, as people and as actors :) :)

  • Starring:

    Rowan Atkinson

    where?

  • don't fight thats the answer

  • That tall guy with the moustache looks like barney from How I met your mother O.o

  • Holy shit... hearing Lionel Hardcastle say 'blinged up' just made me screeeeem :)

  • BLINGED THEM WELL UP!!!...SUPERB PHRASE...

  • I don't see why David says Isn't it though at the end when he wasn't talking like a chav for the rest of it.

  • Oh dear - some chavs don't like having the mirror held up to their fat faces.

  • Blinged these geezers up!

  • Crap! Is that what the new generations call funny?

  • isnt that the guy from as time goes by

  • "And then they done escaping up a tunnel like a mole or a miner or some shit like that."

    LOL

  • 17 people done got shot down by the Germans or whatever.

  • Mum goes chippy in her slippers hahaha

  • Haha, it's the DFC, not the DSO but whatever. Still the most awesome sketch concept ever.

  • ww2 is not good

  • @patricktamayo isn't it?

  • @patricktamayo

your mom lying on the couch naked with my sperm dripping off her pussy IS NOT GOOD

  • @patricktamayo wooowwwww hark at sherlock over here who's worked that one out- I would have thought after tens of millions of deaths we should have worked that one out but patrick here has done it

  • @patricktamayo You know WWII? Yeah, you know WWII? It was like all bad and shit, they had them Nazi's getting all blinged up to do that shit where they imprisoned Jews or some shit. It was like some kinda sci-fi shit or some shit.

  • @patricktamayo That's the thing about sequels though ennit?

  • Remtards on free dinners.

    Nice.

  • I LOVE these characters, they're so funny. Brilliant concept

  • 15 people didn't get medals and shit

  • @2madmidgets Isn't it though... :)

  • But isn't it though?

  • "Oh then why didn't you say that in the first place?"

  • "Like a mole or a miner or some shit like that", I busted a gut man XD

  • I have no idea what's being said but it's hilarious.

  • isn't it though, though? (

should fit in with the next comment) hahaha

  • lol love it :D standard

  • I show this to my classes and it cracks them up. Good to see that they can laugh at themselves. Brillantly done as always

  • i forgot why i came here =-p

  • @BRITAINSSAVIOR Opinions are facts now, apparently.

  • Armstrong and Miller vs Mitchell and Webb....... GO

  • is that Geoffrey Palmer?

  • @kevwithell Isn't it, though?

  • @kevwithell Yes.

  • Wish BBC America would start showing more comedy like this

  • I love the way David Mitchell said 'Isn't it though', so very posh.

  • That guy is a G :D

  • OMG, comedy gold.

  • I wish they didn't use canned laughter it ruins the mood of the sketch :/

  • @Baeloth - It's not canned laughter. This was shown to a live studio audience as part of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. That's the studio audience you can hear.

  • lol well he should have just said that in the first place

  • It's a guilty pleasure hearing David Mitchell saying "Isn't it, though" :L

  • @EdNortonisMineLol I know, innit?

  • @wwwtotalitaerde I've always fancied being a hitman.

  • @highestsettings You may want to give it a try on German snitchers undermining your country. See channel 18BND88

Take a camera, hunt them down, ask them questions about their Deutschland and give them an unpleasant time if they want to push your society into certain directions to promote German aim for world domination.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde Just thought you should know. I was joking. In fact the sheer fact that you didn't realise that makes me think you're a bit insane.

  • @wwwtotalitaerde Yeah If I knew where you lived I would kill you as well.

  • HAHA very original xD

  • They are DFC medals. The Ribbon is purple and white diagonals. DSO ribbon is a thick central red column with thin blue columns on the edges or some shit.

  • their crosses dont look like DSO's....

  • @lagundafire you're right, they look like DFCs

  • anyone else caught the milligan reference when he called himself chalky white?

  • @WillShakespeare2007 Strictly speaking, they're not making fun of the working classes. The object of their playful scorn is the shitty, work-shy, scum-to-the-core chav bastard who deserves everything that's coming to him. I'm as working class as the next council estate escapee but I would happily don red coat and jodhpurs, mount a horse, drink a stirrup cup and hunt the cunt into the Surrey countryside. I would never tire of watching stallion hooves dash chav brains onto white chalk...

  • The ONLY criticism I have of this is that they were not awarded the DSO as said in the clip - the medals are DFCs!

  • cool and shit

  • "Why are thet well blinged up and we arn't?"

  • Armstrong and Miller, Mitchell and Webb, Harry and Paul would be epic =)

  • Mitchell and Webb really aern't doing alot here. :P But it doesn't matter, because Armstrong and Miller are amazing :)

  • i would write the whole thing as a funny quote but thats effort, isn't it though. Standard

  • @DestroyBoys isn't it. that's like abuse. like they're taking away your rights or some shit like that. harsh.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but, what does "goes chippy in her slippers" mean? Thanks.

  • @tonemenolc Goes to the chip shop when shes wearing her slippers.

  • "performs sexual favours for money.....in her slippers" ;) haha

  • @GTA188199 it is "goes chippy in her slippers" by the way

  • @OutragedPanda I was explaining what "goes chippy in her slippers" means to another post

    ....

tonemenolc said 1 week ago "Pardon my ignorance, but, what does "goes chippy in her slippers" mean? Thanks."

  • @OutragedPanda I was explaining what "goes chippy in her slippers" meant to tonemenolc

  • @OutragedPanda Just explaining to "tonemenolc" who didn't understand what "goes chippy in her slippers" means.

  • such a funny vid

  • Love the effortless way Geoffrey Palmer steals the scene. Classic

  • I know Im being pickie but the CO says they have been awarded the DSO, but the medals are their chests are DFC's

  • LMAO

  • @abluecarrot1

    No, it's British teen slang.

    Isn't it.

  • @AshtonPhoto isn't it though

  • @GamerGuyM

    Isn't it.

  • @AshtonPhoto

    Standard.

  • isnt tho

  • Has anyone seen Idiocracy? U.S. equivalent of the bad grammar...

  • after seeing this i called my father a cricket hating sodomite in a petty argument. obviosly i didnt know what sodomite meant at the time... fml :L

  • 12 people got shot down or some shit like that

  • the canned laughter really ruins the fun

  • STANDARD... AWESOME

  • As funny as it is, it is scary how accuratly it depicts the standard of english vocabulary at the moment. There is nothing more infuriating than hearing people speak as if they have never even read a book. All the "innit" and "well good" phrases are rediculous yet people truly believe they are cool by using them. Just think what the the next few generations are going to sound like with Chavs as parents and role models! And this is coming from a 20 year old!

  • @surrendermonkeys Lol, im 14 and tbh ive grown up learning to speak like that, i mean its like the normal proper english and all this, its like well easy to talk like this and shit.

  • @GamerGuyM I grew up in a place where everyone talks that way and it makes my skin crawl, lol. Im so pleased i never picked it up.

  • @surrendermonkeys tell me about if im 16 and its like me and my friends are the only ones who talk in english, you want to hear what the other morons talk like >:(

  • Standard.

  • I adore this sketch.

I was WELL happy when I saw it on red nose day ;)

  • lol they should do more duo comedys together

  • i generaly like british comedy but this one i didnt get are the ones on the right acting like teenage americans?

  • @johnnyblazze911 not just Americans, teenagers in general, they've captured the unfortunate personality of todays youth in Britain.

  • @johnnyblazze911 Yes, or teenage Brits. You did get it.

  • And thats why i Blinged them well up!! LOL

  • You know you? XD lmao

    Top show!!

  • Bloody funny, good show chaps!

  • 0.01

  • @maxmetal14 fail

  • isn't it. isn't it though. standard

  • I find this so damn funny, but I don't really "get" the joke. Why do the pilots talk like that? Is that how English kids talk or something?

  • @IXPrometheusXI Yeah the ones from London do, this a fifties-style 'stiff upper lip' parody of their accent/dialogue which is a mix of cockney/afro-caribbean and Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi accents. But all kids speak like that regardless of their colour and creed which is a good thing even if it does sound monumentally stupid.

  • @IXPrometheusXI watch the end of the armstrong and miller predictive text sketch and you will see modern English youth (but as part of the joke again swearing is changed). This is a joke making old English pilots who should be speaking the queens english as per old films, speaking in the language of todays youth.

  • "One might almost call it poetic, if poetry weren't the last refuge of the bearded, cricket hating sodomite." SPECTACULAR line, deserved far more than a lukewarm canned laughter chuckle!

  • @faulknmd Oh yes- And delivered by the great Geoffrey "Cock-up on the comedy front" Palmer.

  • @faulknmd Delivered fantastically by the ever magnificent Geoffrey Palmer

  • @faulknmd It hearkened back to his brilliant speech in Reggie Perrin second series when he's trying to recruit Reggie into his private army.

  • @faulknmd I know. but they had no choice. due to the fact that a percentage of the people who watch these types of thing cannot appreciate it.

  • @faulknmd Haha, yeah, it all deserved more laughs than it got.. but I figure the laughs were recorded when it was played to the audience at Comic Relief, so they'd probably been laughing on and off for hours at this stage. I don't remember what time it was on, but you get wild whooping for the first two or three hours, tops, and then only genuinely funny things even raise a titter.

I mean, depending when it was recorded this could have been seen as going down a storm... it probably was. :)

  • @faulknmd TOTAL GOLD!!!! Beautifully delivered!

  • @faulknmd Man, I completely agree. Great actor and great line. If anybody follows As Time Goes By, that's totally Lionel.

  • Although generally I prefer Mitchell & Webb, the two fighter pilots remain one of the funniest ideas I've ever seen.

  • Mitchell is lol

  • Mitchell is lol

  • The older guy from As Time Goes By is Geoffrey Palmer

  • Who's the older man, who used to be in a comedy with Judi Dench?

  • That Miller geezer, yeah, he was like a theoretical physicist or some shit, yeah. He was, like, all doing physics and this and that and every thing else. Then he was in comedy and all this. Standard.

  • @jacksawild That's well random, isn't it?

  • @Walrusaurus Isn't it, though. Get me.

  • @jacksawild That's well funny, men

  • @jacksawild isn't it though?

  • @jacksawild isn't it

  • @jacksawild Isn't it?

  • remtards on free dinners :D

  • the only sketches of RND that were actually funny!

  • @Veraad Harsh.

  • lol Mitchel & Webb + My favourite Armstong and Miller Sketch = AWESOME!!!

  • "bearded sodomite? poetry?" clearly referring to Allan Ginsberg there I think.

this is all you lot: "no way blad/ wtf you chattin bout? why would he be talking about dat shit yeah? That aint got nuffink to do wiv it doe"

  • Always thought A & M had more talent than M & W

  • Innit?

  • I'M SEEING ARMSTRONG AND MILLER LIVE! <3

  • This is me being them - "ooh, look at me, im flying a Hurricane. Its a shit plane, im rubbish, and my mum goes chippy in her slippers" - that was me being them

  • @Barcoded222 That's well funny, man.

  • @TheDarkKreig Isnt it just?

  • You know you yeah you know you yeah yeah...LOL

  • The medals they received were DFCs not DSOs which is the correct medal as they both were officers. Only NCOs got the harder to get DSOs.

  • The medals they received were DFCs not DSOs which is the correct medal as they both wewre officers. Only NCOs got the harder to get DSOs.

  • @MekonInBrisbane The whole comedic premise of this sketch definitely hinges on the type of medals they received.

  • you blinged them up and shit LOL

  • "Brothers in Arms... Sacred bond, isn't it, among young men killing other young men"

  • They done all good flying and war and this that and everything else.

  • Standard.

  • Standard.

  • Is that a British Neil Patrick Harris?

  • i don't see why some people say armstrong ans miller are funnier than mitchell and webb because a + m always use the same joke

  • "They shot us down."

    "Twice."

    Best line.

  • Fucking hilarious.

  • So funny - Ian

  • Mitchell and Webb used to work for Armstrong and Miller, but it's hilarious to see the latter now trying to outdo the former and failing here. Mitchell and Webb are much more superior.

  • @raccooneyes55 doesn't make much sense as the whole comedic premise is A&M's.

  • @Doodle1Bean I never said I found it funny.

  • "then they done escaping up a tunnel like a mole or a miner or some shit like that" I lold so hard at that XD

  • zionist boy, your comments are absolutely shocking, claiming Americans just as racists as the Nazis. You hath offended a whole nation and the whole of humanity. The Americans stayed out of the war during the first 4 years of the war not because they couldn't care less of the jews or the future of europe but because as nation which lives allthe way over the other side of the atlantic ocean, you shouldn't really need to be implicated in this conflict unless provoked ( pearl harbor).

  • @zionistboy no, that is rubbish. I may not like America, and they may have done many bad things, but you cant simply put millions more into the country, many of whom are young, old, weak, and unable to speak the language. It is a terrible thing, and I am sorry for all the people effected, however you cannot make assenine statement
