Usb extreme doesn't load at all, not through usb extreme cd, not through elf launcher & then from mem card.

Just blank black screen.

What's the problem?

P.S. cd is verified.

@resa23np : No if you've working an exploit memory card with free mcboot then you don't need Swap Magic. Swap Magic is only needed for newer version of Slim PS2 where FMCB is not working.

@ionutzaurus : If your PS2's manufactured date is March 2008 or earlier then mcboot will work for you.

However, If your PS2 is made after March 2008 then you need Swap Magic.

@jeroen207 : You must have FAT32 file system on your USB stick and HD. USBAdvance / Extreme only supports FAT32 not NTFS. Take a backup of the data and format the HD and USB stick using FAT32 and it should work.

Here are the steps for running games from USB HDD. (I don't have HDAdvance and I use USBAdvance)

1) Install Magic ISO (Free program) and mount PS2 ISO file using the program. This will create a new virtual cdvd drive into your "My Computer"

2) Plug-in your USB HDD

3) Open USBExtreme and select your CDVD drive, media type and USB HDD drive.

4) Give your game name and press start and wait to finish.

You need to load USB Advance using flash drive and then remove your flash drive and insert USB HDD. If you see my video, | too have USB flash drive and USB HDD. For me as well directly from USB HDD it didn't work so we need to do this work around

My PS2 version is 90004 which doesn't support FMCB. But most of the versions prior to 90004 does support FMCB.

Yes, I've tried small games form flash drive and it worked but for larger games with high end graphics it is recommended to use USB HDD.
