you're beyond amazing. i really wish someone would repost the video of you dancing to....what i think was the retrosic. im not for certain, but either way it was amazing. i loved watching that video.
Would you mind if I used the first song for one of my Gothique preformances. I'm using different moves, obviously, my isolations aren't near as advanced as yours, but the song is beautiful. Plus, I've used too much Emilie Autumn with my preformances.
Every time I hear the first song I want to cry T_T I just saw BeatsAntique on Saturday and you definitely do them justice! You are inspiring and I hope I can dance even half as well as you do someday.
I am in awe of you isolations! Very beautiful! *jealous*
Although I have been dancing for almost 20 years, and I have learned many styles of all kinds of dancing from all over the world I wouldn't consider myself a purist of ANY of them, and therefore I do/don't agree with molarmama5 - I believe even if a bent air conditioning grate makes a sound that moves you, you can dance to it and call it what you will - They are all dance :P Just saying...
I liked your dance very much the first part was beautifully sad. The second by music of Beats Antique is inappropriate for tribal fusion belly dance. I do not care how many records thy have sold, it is NOT raks el sharqi. It is only good for popping and locking.
Despite this you are terrific! I'd like to see you with the BDSS!!!
That was beautiful! :D The music suits you very well (although I did like your second half better, I think you seemed more comfortable with it-- By the by, what is the name of the second song?) and the costume is gorgeous!! Did you use a pattern for the skirt/pants combo? I really admire it and love how it moves when you dance. Would it be too much trouble to ask how you made it?
you´re so beautiful and when you dance it evokes an amazing feeling for the audience...you´re definetely one of our idols, because you have such a unique style...keep on dancing, please we really wish to see more videos :) greetings from germany
For the first song, you certainly do not let the difficulty of the song deter you from performing it. The second, I liked a lot - Very active. Good flow.
dude!!! i cant believe what im hearing!.. ive loved this1st song u chos for a long time, im so glad u used it in your performance, i love your outfit on this dance, and ur facial expresions are great! so awesome! im a fan now, lol
I just can't say what i want to say because there too many!!!! You are really my inspiration especially for Gothic dance, your arms are amazing they dance like they feel the song. And your body is amazing it is so flexible especially when you are popping your chest up from down. And I just can't imagine how you do that at 5:03 to 5:12. Did you make the choreography yourself? It is so amazing just fit in the song.
nice form, i noticed the shimmy during the back bend, thats fucking impressive, and the shimmy during the ground work was also awesome, nice isolation too! if your were my barbie doll and i had all the say, i wouldve stuck more dangly jangly stuff on your hip scarf to show off the shimmys.but this is one of the poofy hip sarves that i actually like so im having inner turmoil over it. but yeah that was super awesome
@iamspecial14 It's from the Lord of the Rings. What makes my not recognizing it even sadder is that for a time I was kinda obsessed with that song. Oh well, what happens happens.
Very nice, digging the second half's music, lots of fun, and the lively tempo suits your dancing style better I feel. The Slower First song is very elegant, and the robot stuff is cool, but you fill with life for the second one.
This is fantastic. When did you start to dance?

@APDurrant Why, thank you. The first one is meant to be more of a mourn for the death of someone. But I am glad you liked the second one :)

@wingedtemple
That fits, I like them both. I admire a good dancer, and I like the mix of traditional folk traditions and modern aesthetics.
I'd kinda like it to do it to my traditions. Metal Morris!
