Saw A-ha last night in NYC! GREAT SHOW! I really was blown away and have seen some really good bands in concert like U2, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Oasis, Van Halen, etc. These guys were amazing. I am just bummed this song is not on iTunes!
This is an amazing song with a great video, it is a shame that they are splitting up next year on December 4th 2010, I am seeing them at the O2 in November 2009 and hopefully taking some offical photos of them for the event, crossing my fingers and hopefully when their world tour hits the U.K again in June 2010,

American Hit parade is not fair with great bands including A-HA. They live in a different world, a different planet, i don't know...To hell with Pussycat dolls, beyoncé, and many others "artists". The band has many fans in Europe, Asia an South America but in USA they're still a ONE HIT BAND for many people.

A-ha have had their success in the US during the 80's. The band has a history of disagreement since they split in 1993 . I dont think they would survive a promotion in the US as a band or as remotely friends. Just be glad they got back together and produces anything at all :-)
The US however is a very commercial place, and I think that that is the problem that a-ha has with the country. Artistic freedom is very important to the band.
Totally fantastic video. I found a rocknreview site that shows where another band member contributed this song and most of the lyrics. They all do that apparently in the band, do their solo stuff then bring it together. I like the sound, it's catchy, and I think the guys sound as good (and look as good, too, important for us gals to see!) as 20 years ago. Yummy and most importantly, it's nice to have fresh sounds from such creative artists of former decades!

I think this is going to be a huge album for them. There are songs on this album that could be easy #1 hits.. the best songs they have recorded since getting back together. But, I will agree that for me "East of The Sun" & "Memorial Beach" are my 2 favorite albums. If they had been promoted in the USA when released A-HA would have never left the music scene in the USA. If you wanted A-HA to be a rock-n-roll band, these were the albums. They were #1 ROCKERS/POP stars! And Morten sizzled then!

I like this band since 2002 when they was in Riga :) It was the biggest concert in Latvia, more than 30000 ppl. Also I was on their rehearsal, it was amazing!!! I was standing near Morten Harket, but didn't have a camera..

This is absolute proof that the band are back and stronger than ever. This song is true A-ha,that is written by Magne,re-structured by Pal and song hauntingly by Morten. I say that because this song was,in it's origional form,a Magne single. The video has obviously had a lot of thought and imagination put into it. I believe this is one of their best pieces of work since the halcyon days of the md to late 80's. To the boys i say "Absolutely brilliant! Go get the number 1 slots!

I like this band since 2002 when they was in Riga :) It was the biggest concert in Latvia, more than 30000 ppl. Also I was on their rehearsal, it was amazing!!! I was standing near Morten Harket, but didn't have a camera..

I wish their label would partner up with it's US division and get this new album out here. I think it would do quite well at AA radio and lighter pop/rock stations
I'd also love to see them re-release the older albums remastered and put "Minor Earth, Major Sky", "Lifelines", and "Analogue" out here finally
half of my friends didn;t even know these guys made a record after "Memorial Beach" nbecause they never came out in the US

Why does all call this a comeback??
Minor Earth/ Major sky " was a comeback.
And Analogue was their biggest hit in Germany since "Take on me".
Besides that the new album isen't a return to synth. pop as some thinks.
Some of the songs have the old synth. elements but the rest is the same laid back mature pop the have made the since Minor Earth/Major Sky.
Still looking forward to this release, but like the a-ha rock sound more than their synth. sound.

Morten has a secret of youth. I love all of him: the way he hold hiss head, the way he walks , the way he close his eyes, and his wonderful voice. He's got something: maybe the grace of Gods.

I'm sorry hahaver and arsalanmasud but why the hell are you so interested in how someones walks on sand.Try walking on sand yourself and if you are ascending up a hill you will walk that way. Fuck me!!! either give the song a thumbs or don't .I've been an a-ha fan since day one and am sick of people discussing this kind of shit!! Say something useful like 'I like the idea behind the video or the productione.t.c It's supposed to be about music not how someone walks on sand or drives a bloody car.

Morten's gay mannerism is very apparent in this video - it's funny how he walks at 2:25...LOL. Dont get me wrong I know he is straight and I've been a fan since 1985. But I am pissed why Pal and Mags are almost excluded from this vid. Avergae video but GREAT ALBUM!

This is absolute proof that the band are back and stronger than ever. This song is true A-ha,that is written by Magne,re-structured by Pal and song hauntingly by Morten. I say that because this song was,in it's origional form,a Magne single. The video has obviously had a lot of thought and imagination put into it. I believe this is one of their best pieces of work since the halcyon days of the md to late 80's. To the boys i say "Absolutely brilliant! Go get the number 1 slots!

Good video, great song! As many have said though where are Paul and Magne in this video they are hardly seen! I have never seen an a-ha video which is so focused on Morten! I wish they were releasing the single and album earlier in the UK!
