I remember walking for what seemed like miles to the New Bands tent at Glastonbury 2000 to see Doves and they absolutely tore the roof off with this song, I think the next year they were in their rightful place headlining the NME stage.

From the album that was completely snubbed (wrongly) by music critics is should stay at the top of the page. I couldn't believe some of the bad press this album received by people who think they know about music. For me this tune was brilliant just like the album but it always annoyed me how parachutes by coldplay which came out at the same time got betta press. Doves have and always will be the better band. Anyone wants to argue the toss Im here all week!!

I try and steer clear of reviews because most of the time the reviews are written by idiots who know nothing about good music. Besides, fuck them. We know it's good music. Most people with taste know it's good music. And we will always have this album. Right??

Each day now i become more and more disapproving of the `charts' and top 40 which is a bad thing because your supposed to keep an open mind about music, free expression and all that. You can't help it though when your fed the same crap all the time. Having said that, Id love to know how many number 1 albums Doves have had for such a diverse act? Anyone know?
