The original is obviously an emotional piece about the problems that have to be overcome to gain racial equality. So being annoyed an "EMO" band covered it seems a bit redundant. Also isn't it a good thing that us "white people" can respect the ahrdships and try to overcome it. I had never heard of the original and I went and listened to it after I heard this. I liked them both but I felt the acustic version here is better.
