2 of my all time favorite songs! Thanks for posting. I am from Flint, Michigan...Grand Funk's hometown...So sad that they were never appreciated at home like they were everywhere else. I ALWAYS loved them and I ALWAYS will! Thanks again!!!
I was fortunate enough to see them in concert back in 1974. They were loud, high energy, and they rocked. No musical group today has come close to their level of high powered rock.
Yeah hope the hip cats can dig the energy and rock solid timing these guys had. Think hard! Have to ever as of late or silighly before/90',80' seen or heard a band that generated this kind of power as witnessed in this performace alone. I think not! That drummer(was active drummer/still am at heart)say what? Check out his impecable rocking timing thru the power fills. I mean that's Bonham and pardon me,and then some!) What a super group! God Bless us who were around for it all!
Holy Shit! This performance would have dusted anything Zepplin coould have done! I was around in those days. Never have you seen such energy and sheer top top notch musicianship! Observe the consistant booming power of the drummer(Mark Farmer)the lead singer rips the guitar with ease, sings at a igh pitch when needed and shreds the thr organ, the bass bad ass. Now you can see why/read why were always complaing about what your left with today?
