The Eurofighter is definately at the top if you're considering all factors, performance, design, cost most importantly. Then yes, the EF2000 definitely takes the top. IMO, the Raptor definitely can outperform the Eurofighter in some critical areas, but so can the Eurofighter.

To clear things up....The F22 is a Air superiority fighter(basically nothing touches it, it takes down countries on its own). Multirole fighters are used in many different ways. And AkaviriDragonlord. A F-35 is a stike bomber...never was intended to be used as an attack platform. That about sums it up. Oh and btw the F-16 is a wonderful aircraft, in my opionion one of the best fighters ever made.

The Su-34 is a strike aircraft and not as maneuverable as the rest of the Flanker series. The Su-37 was did not enter production and was pretty much a technology demonstrator. However some versions of the Su-30MK as well as the improved Su-35BM include thrust vectoring.

Most of the Russian air force is poorly trained due to a very limited budget following the end of the Cold War. The latest USAF and USN aircraft are superior to their's anyway.

Dude with all due respect, the falcon was the first ever aircraft to have a negative static stability, which alows the aircraft to perform almost impossible maneuvers. Moreover, a lot depends on who's riding the machine. Aircraft alone cannot do wonders, unless you have a best man up there in the skies. Lastly, the falcon has a clean combat record of 72 A-2-A kills with no losses. Don't count those F-16s that were lost to technical malfunctioning.

If it's a matter of BVR, F-16 has it too. But you guys are comparing a fourth generation fighter (F-16) with a fifth generation fighter (Eurofighter). If you really want a comparision, compare Eurofighter with Raptor. Raptor will kick its ass 24/7. F-16 has proven its worth in real wartime scenarios. This machine has most kills under its belt. According to a US test pilot, Falcon is the greatest machine a pilot can fly, unless you experience Raptor. Above all, falcon is gorgeous.

A Mig-29 could take it in a dog fight, and it has happened before. It was a test though. The Mig was flown by a German pilot, and part of the reason it won was because of better electronics. It's lock on system for missiles had a wider area.
