  • OSU first did it at home in September 2009 vs. USC. Penn State does a different song. Now the rest of the Big 10 does it. Just another example of Michigan wanting to be more like OSU all of the time!

  • @shimdog522 WHO THE HECK CARES a lot of teams do it and u don't complain on those videos

    GO BLUE

  • THA BIG HOUSE BABY!!!!

  • how can you steal a song?

  • I was here haha. Don't remember doing this tho haha

  • The Stripes are from Michigan, so I consider it appropriate.

  • if i had a dollar for every pixal in this video id have 1 dollar.

  • Though - what makes Penn State's version good is the fact our own band plays their rendition along with the fans' chants.

  • Uh, what the mother f---. This was all taken from Penn State. Stop. Sing your fight song and wear your wing-tipped helmets. Leave "Seven Nation Army" to Penn State. And don't have your head coach wear thick glasses. Traditions belong to the schools who started them.

  • u stole this from ohio state

  • @tonybuckeye2 You stole the dotted "i" from Michigan's band. Get a chant from an Ohio band - White Stripes are from Detroit.

  • @sherwoody14 exactly, we spelled out ohio in cursive before ohio $tate they got that from us though they perfected over time. White stripes are from the D ....we can sing any song we want! Go Blue

  • Stole it from Ohio St., who stole it from Penn St. :)

  • @ejf5084 who stole it from european soccer fans.

  • Who ripped it off of an American band. What's your point?

  • @ejf5084 whats your point? they started the chants.

  • @MWolverine9 My point was that Penn St. was the first college to use the riff as a chant. I understand that soccer fans in Europe use the chant but Penn State originated the chant in 2004 against Purdue, the year after the song was debuted as a single, making them the first college to do so.

  • @MWolverine9 @MWolverine9 lol sorry, it was. I was at the game too and they used it. It won't let me post the link to the article, but if you do a little research, you'll see the article stating the use of the chant before the 2006 season when Penn St. played Michigan, the game you claim to have went to.

  • @ejf5084: Who stole it from Italian soccer fans

  • @ejf5084 Who stole it from European Soccer teams, who stole it from the White Stripes.

  • @ejf5084 ...who stole it from soccer teams. I am a Penn Stater too and say that.

  • @DemCPBoiz the song came out in 2003. Penn State Used the chant in the 2004 season.

  • @ejf5084 Works better for Michigan as the White Stripes are from Detroit.

  • @ejf5084 But the Baltimore Ravens started it

  • putty119 did u know that OSU got their fight song from Michigan and Penn State came up with the same chant but different song but before OSU.

  • @putty119 you do realize that Michigan was on defense. no OSU fans would cheer that loud while their team was on offense. that was clearly Michigan fans. and no school claims 7 nation army as their chant, cause so many schools do it... my high school did it.

  • @carbott101 I've heard that it's something used really only in the Big 10 amongst colleges?

  • those people clapping in the back have the most shitty beat on the planet

  • Football fans in Italy started it n soon it spread all over Europe.

  • @zihan6 actually belgium mate. FC brugge

  • @PdishmonkeyJJ hehe..my mistake. yeah..Roma's fans copied from Brugge's fans first.

  • THIS IS NOT THE PSU CHANT!!! Please stop posting comments that you are dead wrong about. It's annoying. The PSU kids have been doing the Zombie Nation chant for a while now. It is not the same thing as 7 nation army.

  • @bobdole45177 It's the same.

  • Jack White is from Detroit anyway, so if anything, Penn St imported it from Michigan.

  • i nearly shat my pants laughing when the stadium did the m-i-c-h-i-g-a-n chant during this game. lmfao!

  • Hey its the Penn State Chant :).....oh thats right ya'll couldn't think of your own....thanks for coming out

  • LOL!! b.c u guys invented the song. U invented the hey song too? eye of the tiger? seven naiton army? sorry to break it to you but those songs have been around and will be used in other stadiums.. hey song in P S U is tight tho... but songs will be reused. before 2 yrs ago michigan stadium didnt play music and was silent.. now it does and LOUDER THAN EVER. dont believe me? people had to cover ears during OSU game.

  • hey dude Detroit fan shut up when was the last time Michigan beat Ohio state and Michigan sucks at that song so shut up go bucks screw blue

  • @amerine1000 better then blowhio

  • @amerine1000 lol @ Ohio. the buckeyes are the only thing u have that can win LMAO. Lebron is leaving, Bengals choke, Browns draft McCoy and wont play him, Indians are at the bottom of the division, nobody hears about the Reds, and the blue jackets lol even Ohio doesnt care about them.

  • @mike0n0jake0inc i hate the state of ohio and ohio state, but im a reds fan and they are in 1st place.

  • Yeah, and every other college stadium sucks at doing it without the help of the BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND!!!

    GO BUCKS!!!

  • Are you retarted? This is Ohio State fans doing that lmfao.

  • obviously you are because we do this EVERY GAME

  • every college stadium does now

  • @xMgoBLUEx

OSU started this, so clearly you are the retarded one for being unoriginal

  • Wrong, soccer fans in Europe started it, then Penn State started doing it and eventually Ohio State started doing it. I really wish Ohio State would stop doing it, it's annoying.

  • That's what everyone in the Big10 says about the Bucks winning the conference title every year, "I really wish Ohio State would doing it". Well, you'll get used to it.

  • @ajheiks

you're dumb. soccer teams started this first

at least OSU started the 3rd down bell from the ACDC song "Hells Bells"
