Some people actually prefer hand cranking over mechanical starters. I agree that hand cranking is next to fooling aroung with a electric chain-saw. Loosing fingers is a clear and present danger.
@RonaldArif It also seems like the smaller electrics are more dangerous that the big boys! My Dad got sliced up on his wrist and palm from a 3 1/2" prop off of a GWS Cub. The prop was like a razor blade!
@jpatt1000 The RC model hobby is no children's toy game. It is very serious business. I know a guy who spent 6-8 weeks in a major Trauma Center in Cleveland, Ohio. After that his entire life was changed, but he is still addicted to RC flying. This hobby is akin to cooking in a kitchen or working in carpentry shop......either you burn yourself in an instant or cut off two fingers. But on alighter side this hobby is a lots of fun & excitement whenall goes well.
