@britneylove1989 Sorry but if her album comprises of covers, and can do nothing really creative with an already amazing and beautiful song, she has no right to call herself a musician. This version is overly sacharin, lacks any real emotion or drama. I don't get the feeling that love is terrible with this. I get the idea that love is bright & breezy. Even if there was supposed to be some sort of ironic juxtaposition of the music with the lyrics, at least make the music interesting.

@xsilverdreamsx I have nothing against musicians doing covers. One of my favourite artists, Cat Power, has released two whole albums worth of quality covers, ranging from alternative Folk and Blues, to Jazz and Mo-town, alongside her own original material. I just take offence to a singer releasing her first album, and it's full of covers. She needs to start with her own work, no? Perhaps the label forced her into it.
