For all you people out there who are judging us teen parents need to quite! I'm 14 and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter! For me I couldn't of prevented it. My step dad raped me. @singinglover1996 I have no regrets having a baby as early as 18. I was diagnosed with PCO since I was 20,... means I couldn't have baby as easy as I used to when I was on my teens. Events in our lives have purpose. If I got married on my 20's then I would have a thin chance to become a mother.

@singinglover1996 I had hormones therapy for 4 years (on-off), nothing happened. Im just glad I had 2 kids, having another would be a miracle. Can't afford artificial method though. Lucky I'm working as a nurse in a Delivery Room, I get the fulfillment of assisting mothers in their delivery and handling newborns.... they're sooo adorable

@singinglover1996 YES, its a very rewarding job, you get to take care for the mom, and then deliver her baby... when you see them having their first touch, kiss, embrace... I would tell this is the best job ever, but also one of the most difficult. We had one patient, with ruptured bag of water upon admission, all the resident doctors suggested a stat cs (which I assist) but the patients private physician insisted to wait, the unborn child died inside the mother's womb just 15 minutes later.
@singinglover1996 Lucky we didn't get sued, its was not our fault though, but it could have been prevented. Sometimes we get to deliver dead fetus and it's not a good sight. Any job has its down side. Anyways, if you really want to pursue your dreams you can! Best thing about being a teen mom, we get to mature earlier than girls our age, we learn to prioritize things and we have bigger plans for the future. Go girl!!

Im a mom at 18, it was a struggle for acceptance from peers and family. Emotionally unhealthy situation for a pregnant woman/girl. The only help that people could give is the emotional support. Perhaps those who produce unhealthy babies have suffered a lot of deprivation and stress, some may have attempted abortion.
Respond to this video... BTW I delivered healthy babies, for Asian like me, my babies weighed 6lbs, perfectly fine. It will always fall back to ones disposition in life, even if the external stimulus are stressful but you keep yourself happy, I think the pregnancy will be fine. Im 28 now and my eldest is 10 my second is 8, they are both studying in a private school and both in honors class, they have been very active in church. My being a teen mom is not a failure, Im proud of them.

If my tax money wasnt being used then I guess I wouldnt care, if teen moms didnt have government aid you would see a drop in teen pregnancy. However it didnt happen to me nor will it happen to my children or grandchildren. I would never of gotten into a situation like that because I wasnt going to sacrifice my future.

I was raised where you had to go to college, college was mandatory, I mean my grandparents both went to college, yes even my grandma. I was raised to where you thought about your future and your career first, then you could raise a family. That was how I was raised, thats how I raised and am raising my kids. I was never in that situation and my kids will never be in that situation because I am they were raised right.
@84ndman Unfortuantely some parents do not teach thier kids all of these things. Mine always did because I have a family full of teachers (which is why they are disappointed) but, at least I'm not dropping out of school, and even though it will be hard, I plan on doing some type of college. That is great for you and your family but sometimes parents don't even care about what thier kids do. I was babied my whole life so I guess that is why I rebelled. But, now I'm going to have to grow up fast.

Honestly, I didnt understand the programs until after I got pregnant... I was not expecting any help. But it is nice that there are programs to help people. For all you people out there who are judging us teen parents need to quite! I'm 14 and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter! For me I couldn't of prevented it. My step dad raped me. @singinglover1996 I have no regrets having a baby as early as 18. I was diagnosed with PCO since I was 20,... means I couldn't have baby as easy as I used to when I was on my teens. Events in our lives have purpose. If I got married on my 20's then I would have a thin chance to become a mother.

@singinglover1996 I had hormones therapy for 4 years (on-off), nothing happened. Im just glad I had 2 kids, having another would be a miracle. Can't afford artificial method though. Lucky I'm working as a nurse in a Delivery Room, I get the fulfillment of assisting mothers in their delivery and handling newborns.... they're sooo adorable

@singinglover1996 YES, its a very rewarding job, you get to take care for the mom, and then deliver her baby... when you see them having their first touch, kiss, embrace... I would tell this is the best job ever, but also one of the most difficult. We had one patient, with ruptured bag of water upon admission, all the resident doctors suggested a stat cs (which I assist) but the patients private physician insisted to wait, the unborn child died inside the mother's womb just 15 minutes later.

@singinglover1996 Lucky we didn't get sued, its was not our fault though, but it could have been prevented. Sometimes we get to deliver dead fetus and it's not a good sight. Any job has its down side. Anyways, if you really want to pursue your dreams you can! Best thing about being a teen mom, we get to mature earlier than girls our age, we learn to prioritize things and we have bigger plans for the future. Go girl!!

Respond to this video... BTW I delivered healthy babies, for Asian like me, my babies weighed 6lbs, perfectly fine. It will always fall back to ones disposition in life, even if the external stimulus are stressful but you keep yourself happy, I think the pregnancy will be fine. Im 28 now and my eldest is 10 my second is 8, they are both studying in a private school and both in honors class, they have been very active in church. My being a teen mom is not a failure, Im proud of them.

And plus, no one has any room to judge any pregnant teen because we don't know there lives or how it happened. Mine always did because I have a family full of teachers (which is why they are disappointed) but, at least I'm not dropping out of school, and even though it will be hard, I plan on doing some type of college. @tickyul You need to just give it up. You got your point across. I already had my baby... would you prefer me throwing my child off a bridge or TRYING to take care of him? If we did not have programs that help... innocent lives would be lost because mothers could not care for them. Yes I understand, we should all prevent pregnancy from happening, I agree with you on that matter... and that is why the girls that are need to teach others to wait. That is all I am saying. I was just trying to get across my point, maybe in too nasty of a manner. The country is in a really dire state. National debt will be between 20-22 trillion by the end of 2016. We will be in a spot where massive cuts will have to be made......no if's, and's or but's. I still think these generous benefits attract scammers for the most part.

@tickyul Apology accepted and I do get where you are coming from. -and I think there should be limits to these programs if a person is constantly having babies...I do not think that is right at all...but if you need help to get on your feet, I see it as a big help! I also think that teenage pregnancy or pregnancy in general should not be blamed for national debt. There are bigger problems going on then that... but yes, every thing adds up.... cant argue with you there!

i was a teenage mom i wasnt married i was 15 but i got married with the father of my child ofcourse i finish school we have our own house and im a child psychologis making way more money than alot of ppl who were married before they had kids our baby girl is our joy and pride and would never change it so for all you people that say that say teen moms are the worst thing that could ever happened to planet earth think twice before you speak douchlord

@ScaryCannibalTrout1 do you realize how horrible you sound? im 16 and im pregnant and im doing everything i possible can to make sure my baby is going to have a good life. i have a job, im doing cyber school (so i can finish schooling), my boyfriend of almost 3 years is with me.. and I have WIC to help me and Medical Assistance.... but honestly i think i am very brave for following thru with something noone else agreed with. and you cant take that away from me.

@broken10940 I love your comment! Even though, I was pregnant during college, I still faced a lot of the "You're too young" prejudice from my peers. Even at 22! It seems like present culture makes child rearing and pregnancy out to be taboo. Yet giving birth is one of the most courageous feats in the world. Caring for a child is one of the most rewarding things in the world. Albeit messy as my daughter spits up in my lap. Bless you for your strength.

I was 19 years old when i had my daughter. Old enough to know the consequences of my actions but still young to standards...I have 3 children now. I love them all more than life itself. there is nothing wrong with being a young mother if you are willing to do your best to care for your child. They should be your number 1. I know they are mine.

Yep, pull the plug on these leaches on society. These girls are smart, they know that they get all sorts of government goodies when they pop out that little bastard. Let's see they get Wic, food stamps, section 8, welfare, free medical just to name a few. Best thing to do is cut it ALL off. If you pop out a kid you get nothing, raise it on your own dime. @tickyul FYI, I have been working my "ass" off. I will provide for my kid and I'm not expecting money out of anyone. At least money goes to help people instead of just going to the government so they can live life in thier beautiful mansions with nice cars. Oh wait, somehow they all still have money to do that. It's good that some programs help. I am working and going to school. As long as I'm doing the best I can do, that is all that matters. The government is here for the people.

I could do it on my own but why not use the resourses that are available to us? And if you are so concerned, get off Youtube and do something about it. Sitting at a computer yelling at teen mothers is not getting you anywhere. Most babies are "bastards" btw. My parents were not married and I grew up fine. So thanks. :)
