I tried it and it worked once but then I accidentally (using a PS3) pressed X instead of the hot key button triangle and after that it stopped working even after i reloaded the file to when i paid the fine and was outside the prison. I assume that hot key is what you mean by equip/select. Any help?

@aaddoms - Accidentally pressing a button shouldn't matter at all.. The equip button is whatever button you use to put on or take off armor. You have to re-equip the multi-scroll each time you drop something in order to dupe it.. you don't just press it once and then dropping always works from then on..

When i pick up my duplicates, and try to drop them again so they duplicate more times than 1, i always drop multiple of the items and it doesnt duplicte...what am i doing wrong?

@laxnpigskin1037 - Just picking up one, and dropping a single item (instead of dropping something you've got more than one of) is the best way. Also, when you leave your inventory menus, the trick ends and to start over again you've got to equip the scrolls again.

Anywayz if you want to make money just join arena, fighter's guild, mage's guild. And then what you do is just rob them blind of everything. The only 2 downsides are it might take a little longer than 15 minutes and you're left with droughty, empty guild houses. :(

My game isn't patched and it tells me the merchant doesn't have enough gold when I go to sell. She only has 600 gold you can even see in your video but in yours the game ignores it, why?

@Chesuf - 600 is the max amount Jensine is able to make any single purchase (of 1+ items) for, not the max gold they have to spend altogether. If you try to sell 2+ items for more than 600, the merchant will reject it. In my sales, I hit the button to reduce the item number to 1 item (LB/left shoulder on x360), then tap up to how many I estimate she would be able to buy at a time without going over 600. Items that are over 600 value you'd have to sell 1 at a time, as shown in the later merchant.

Ok so my husband and I watched your video, and it gave us an idea for the game. It actually almost shut down our xbox 360. After you duplicate your scrolls, and you have like over 100 scrolls, go to something that you can sell for a lot of money (we used a varla stone because they are worth 1000 a piece) and do the same thing you did with your scrolls (select the scroll that has the most and then drop the ONE varla stone or whatever you have one of and it will give you a shitload.) @dtbowersock Did you watch the entire video, and the 2nd part? It shows doing pretty much exactly that except using an expensive sword. I would also advise not duping any number of things higher than 60 singles at a time, though, because you may actually be worsening a possible E-74 red-ring (which costs ~$99 to repair) by stressing the video processor so hard. first you need 1000 scrolls then you need 500 of the item you want to dup then do it, and its duplicated in groups of 500, it DOES work. however carry around 1000 water melons is not very..errr..wise.

@lolzz19 - I have a feeling that they did discover it and tried to fix it, but couldn't for some reason and only fixed it partially. There were several dupe glitches like this but they were all fixed, they must've known about this one. Also, there is some mysterious variable like race or star-sign that won't let you randomly dupe items that you'd be able to with another character, that seems incosistent with a real secret, in that it doesn't work with the same items for all classes/etc.

@vitroxno - equip a set of scrolls that you have more than one of (of the same kind), but stay in inventory. go to the item you want to dupe, and drop it. You'll drop the same number of that item to dupe as there were scrolls.
