building one of these myself, bought same servo you are using but in the metal gear version, however it doesn't have enough power to turn my wheels. they are 10" diameter hand truck wheels, have a 2.5" servo horn and the spindles have a 5 inch horn on each of them. I will try lubing them but do I need to bring the servo horn hole in closer to give the servo more mechanical advantage?
@Stormer94 ohh ok well I just got the servo mounted in today. used 10-24 screws and some rubber to give it a little softer mounting surface then the steel tubing it bolts to. greased my spindles, and moved the hole closer and it turns the wheels while stationary but not very much. think I need something in the middle. thanks and your vids inspired me
Hi I have about your video is excellent and I wanted to tell you if you could acer another of the same but as you assemble, you and I hope that does it.
i looked on you website for the speed control, and didnt find the RX8, which other one would you recommend for a motor with a little bit more torque than a 325 watt?
@Thijs18588, I'm with ya, that would be cool!!!! I should build another one with a chainsaw motor in it. Run the rear tires off the chain saw bar, would be epic! :)
@rccrawler , I saw that. Excellent work. Almost brought a tear to my eye imagining how you must have felt with smiling, happy, laughing children in your hand made car. It'a a beautiful thing if you think about it. :)

@MullinPerformance , Thanks man. Little slow for me too, But you have to walk before you can run. I'd like to try and catch a bit of air, but need to be going faster first. I think in the coming months that is likely to happeh. :)
@Stormer94 I'm thinking a Ampflow A28-400 Motor and 36 volts would make those back tires slicks... good job tho! I subbed and cant wait for updates...

@madde78273, servo doesn't need to move the wheels much at stand still, as long as it moves them when the car is moving. :)

madde78273 3 months ago
@madde78273, well it should help. Doesn't matter what it does while stationary, as long as it works while moving. :) Keep up the good work!

did you do this from prints or plans? or was it like grind it cut it build it type of deal?
i like the design very much seems to be a good solid bomb proof system.
would you mind terribly if someone were to copy it? not in whole but perhaps in part here and there?
KeithWasHere1 9 months ago
@KeithWasHere1 , made it on the fly, no plans. ONLY build criteria was the wheels and tires, and then I just matched it all up. :)
Stormer94 9 months ago
what are the tires and rims off of?
KeithWasHere1 9 months ago
@KeithWasHere1 , Wheels and tires are Burris kart stuff.

you could hook up two of the scooter motors. you would get more power for hills but not more speed
poo979 10 months ago
have you ever thought of puting a 49 cc pocket bike engine on it. it would fly like 50 or so. and i bet you could ride on it to.
andrewstunna08 10 months ago
have you though about mounting up a pocket bike engine to it. 49cc i bet that thing would move about 50 mph or 80 kmh
andrewstunna08 10 months ago
@andrewstunna08 , would be sweet. :)
